𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬 (𝗦𝗢 𝗙𝗔𝗥). ginnifer was born to gregory and maureen carver in morristown, new jersey. ginny and her siblings grew up in a small rundown apartment with her family. they didn't have the most and struggled often but ginny grew up knowing that was life. that her parents were doing their best. as a kid, ginny was a very shy girl, not one to make her presence known. she even had a stutter. for a long time in school she was bullied for it. never really fitting in.
a very awkward black girl. bullied by other girls with the same skin tone as her for having a "white name". for talking "white" or acting "white". her siblings never really helped, so she was on her own. something she struggled with for most of her childhood. but when she got into highschool, her "awkward phase" seemingly ended. as boys began to notice her, she became more confident in herself and popular in her own right. the popularity wad meaningless, but she was going to enjoy it while it lasted.
soon far too often parties went out of hand when the carver parents were not home. or sneaking away from her siblings to parties. ginnifer had earned herself somewhat of a reputation. the infamous party girl. who may or may not have been with more than a few guys and girls. soon her parents quickly sensed her lack of motivation and accepted the fact their daughter wasn't going to be the greatest scholar. she got in trouble so much her parents gave up on her.
at 18 she left home, never turning back. for a while she stayed with friends, struggling with what she wanted to do. spending most of her days scrolling through social media. sometimes passing videos of men being offensive on podcasts. she then made one tik tok video ranting. it blue up, people listening to what she had to say. so after working and saving up she got recording equipment. she started a small podcast called 'a girl's room' talk about, self love, anti-misogyny, body positivity and issues, feminism, all around just a safe space for girls. just being her awkward self. talking about social issues and what she enjoys.
she went from just having one viewer to 100,000 continuing to grow as the days go by. she got her podcast on spotify as well as getting a youtube channel. after getting so many subscribers, she started getting payed for videos and podcasts. she even began inviting other youtubers to interview. soon her brand went from just girls issues to movie & music reviews and vlogs. she even now has her own office space, an assistant, and is verified on tiktok, instagram, and twitter.
