Later on Void picks me up after the trail is cut short. He arrives with a big grin on his face. 

"Hey," He says cringely and I laugh. 

"Hey you," I say smiling as I slide into the passenger seat of my car. 

Void leans over to kiss me and I obliged with a massive smile on my face. 

"I've missed you," He murmurs against my lips.

If it's possible, I smile more. "I've missed you more," I utter back before bringing my lips to his own. 

I pull back and he smiles at me before turning out of the school lot. 

"So," I say with a smile. "Where are we going?" 

Void smiles. "Well, it's sort of a surprise."He says slyly. 

"I do love a good surprise," I say softly and Void laughs, 

"No you don't, you hate them." He says and I sigh. 

"Okay I do but, if you don't want to tell me I won't ask just yet," I say and Void shakes his head.

"We're going to get greek food," He says and I smile. 

"You found a good place?" I ask and he nods with a grin. 

"It was so good, I had to share it with you." He says and he reaches across to lace his fingers through mine.

I smile as he pulls my fingers to his lips as he drives. I missed him a lot today. I wasn't used to being away from him. When he was 'Stiles' I still saw him every day at school, and then after that when we took off I was always with him. 

Void looks at me for a fleeting moment and seems to read my mind with a sad smile."I know, I missed you too." He says and I laugh.

We pull up to the restaurant and before I can open my door and clamber out Void is there, opening my door for me and offering me his hand. 

"Ooh, what a gentleman," I comment and he winks at me. 

"Only for you." He says as he offers me his arm. 

I take his hand instead as we walk up to the door of the restaurant and he breaks away from me to open the door as well. 

I smile at him as I walk past, towards the counter. The restaurant was small, there was seating outside and not much room to move around inside. I smiled as I looked around. I loved it. 

I'm looking at the menu when Void comes up behind me, giving a small nod to the lady behind the counter as she smiled widely at him. 

"I'm thinking I'll get the chicken souvlaki," I say as I point to it on the menu. 

The lady behind the counter smiles. "That's his go-to as well," She says pointing at Void. 

I turn to him surprised. "You come here often?" I ask and he looks sheepish. 

Void shrugs. "I used to, even when I was erm," He looks at the lady and back to me. "with Stiles." 

I laugh. "I think I remember Noah saying that Stiles had been craving greek food, but when we were kids he told me he hated it." I pause as I look at him with a smile. "Guess it makes sense now." 

I hear the lady let out a sound like a coo and I turn around embarrassed. She smiles at me. "He's a keeper that one." She says as she turns away from us both and goes to get another menu to offer to Void. 

He shakes his head. "No thanks, Martha. We'll get two chicken souvlakis, please." He says and I smile. 

"Right away." The lady, Martha, says. She turns away and I can't help but laugh at the thought of a 1000-year-old spirit having Greek souvlakis as his comfort food.

"What's so funny?" Void asks, a ghost of a smile forming on his lips. 

I sigh happily as Martha comes back to the counter from the kitchen with two souvlakis and a big grin on her face. "Oh nothing," I say and this makes Void smile.

We thank Martha and go outside to where there is a small seating era consisting of a few picnic tables on some grass. 

We eat our food in comfortable silence, occasionally making casual conversation. 

"Damn!" I say suddenly, startling Void who has half a piece of chicken hanging from his mouth. "This is the best greek food I've had in a long time," I said, crumpling the paper bag containing the souvlaki.

Void laughs and I shoot him a grin. He sighs. " I missed this." He says quietly and I raise an eyebrow at him. 

"But mainly, I missed you." He clarifies quickly, clearly thinking I thought he was talking about the food. 

This brings a massive grin to my face and I nudge him with my foot, Void, the notorious murderer, evil spirit, had a soft side.

Void gets up from the table with a grin. "I have to go talk to Martha about something but wait here. I will be right back."

I nod and watch as he enters the souvlaki shop again, and I wait patiently for him as I look down at my phone and check my notifications.

But for once my phone isn't blown up with texts from my friends, in fact, there isn't a single notification at all. I smile as I hear Void's footsteps return. I look up at him and he holds his arm out, an invitation for me to loop my arm through his own. 

I'm hit with a strong sense of deja vu from 3 years ago. Stiles, Scott and I walked through the woods to find a dead body and Stiles offered me his arm too. I had jokingly elbowed him in the stomach and ran up to Scott with a mass I've grin on my face. 

It seemed like eons ago now. 

"Is something wrong, sweetheart?" Void asks and I force a smile and shake my head with a laugh. 

"Nothing, just thinking about something," I say, threading my arm through his own as I stand up.

Void smiles at me and we continue in the direction of my car.

"That may have been my favourite date ever," I say turning to him with a smile as I buckle my seatbelt. 

Void fakes a bow and then winks at me. 

"Wait!" I say suddenly and Void looks up. "We have to go pay!" I go to get out of my car, reaching into my pocket for my wallet but I hear Void laugh beside me and I turn to him with a raised eyebrow. "What's so funny?" I ask suspiciously.

Void shakes his head, still laughing. "Sweetheart, I already paid. Why do you think I went inside?"

I roll my eyes, falling back into my seat. "Next time, I'm paying. I refuse to be a victim of the patriarchal cycle where males pay for the date every time." I say and this makes Void laugh again.

"Sure thing, love. Whatever you want," He says and leans across to kiss my forehead.

so after a moth, here is 12. im so sorry my loves. after my grandad died we had to drop everything and go to aus, so it didn't leave much opportunity for writing when I was over there. now im back, but leaving again (sorry) for a sports tournament for my sister. so it will be 3-5 days before i update again. love you all sm and i hope you enjoyed xx
