After coming back from their extracurricular activities as well as refreshing themselves with a shower and a change out of their uniforms, the quartet sat in their dorm room doing their respective pastimes;

Ivory sat on her bed, jotting down information about other kinds of monsters from her laptop as well as from the books she borrowed from the library.

Vivian and Adam were playing a multiplayer game on their phone, playfully bullying each other within the said game as their laughs filled the room.

Deirdre was listening to music as she wrote random lyrics in her notebook, sometimes catching herself writing Xavier's name on some of the lines before she immediately erased it.

The short haired girl thought about the rumor that Xavier had told them and tried to tie it with Adam's guess, despite it being an obvious joke. She stares at the sketches she made of the Hyde on her work book and tapped her pen on her cheek, humming as she thinks of a certain idea before she turned towards her mates, "Guys!"

The three of her mates immediately looked to her direction with Deirdre removing one earphone from her ear and Vivian and Adam pausing their game as Adam replies, "What 'cha got?"

"So, i've been thinking.." Ivory started slowly, as she steadily closed her book and her laptop, "Remember back in CB when we used to sneak out of our dorms just to stargaze at the field?"

"Yeah?" Deirdre raised a brow at her sudden recall, "We were dumb freshmen but like- what about it?"

"What if.." The short girl's voice faltered slightly as she asks, "We sneak out to the forest to test our theories?" 

"Yah!" Vivian exclaims, slamming her phone onto her lap, "Ives, are you crazy?"

"Look- just hear me out!"

"No. I am not gonna hear you out; the last time we did this in TG, we almost got caught!"

"That was close! we didn't get caught caught!"

Vivian sighs, shaking her head as she pressed her hand just above her forehead, "Ivory, I'd rather just stay here than be killed by some monster that's running wild out there!"

Deirdre joins Adam on the floor, just watching at the two argue before she leans in to whisper; "What do you think about Ivory's idea?"

"Not gonna lie- as much as i want to agree with Vi," Adam replies, leaning a bit closer to Deirdre as he was still focused at the fuming duo, "I kinda miss sneaking out."

"Me too," Deirdre nods, "Majority wins."

To that, Adam simply chuckled and he stood up, joined by his friend as they walked towards Ivory and Vivian, silencing the two with their sudden appearance, "Well- i kinda wanna prove if my joke is just a joke"

"I- Adam!" Vivian nagged and crossed her arms before quickly turning to Deirdre, grabbing her by her shoulders, "Dee, you better not be in this."

Although the girl was pretty shaken by her friend's sudden grip, she pouts,  "I miss sneaking out! and i wanna explore the woods!"

Knowing that the three of them have decided, Vivian groans; yes she could choose to stay if she wants to, but if anything happens to the three, she'll be the first to be questioned and that thought alone gives her a slight shiver. Giving in to the trio, she sighs once more and slides her hand down Deirdre's shoulders, "So we're really gonna do this again?"

Ivory begins to smile at Adam and Deirdre before giving her grumpy friend a nod, "at Midnight, when everyone's asleep."

The group stared down their window and notice the dimming of the streetlights, almost as if when everyone's asleep, the building sleeps too.
So when the lights die down, Adam pushed the window opened as Vivian threw the end of their makeshift rope made of their bedsheets, towels and blankets as the other end was tied to Deirdre's bedpost as it was the closest to the window.
Playing it safe, they decided to just go down one by one; Starting with Deirdre, then Ivory, then Vivian and lastly, Adam.

When his feet finally reached the cold stone floor, Adam sighs and rubbed his gloved hands as he walked to his mates with a glance back at their opened window; "So are we just gonna leave it there?"

"Unless we could somehow pull the rope up from down here," Ivory huffs looking back at the makeshift rope, "then yes, we only have like- a good 10 to 15 minutes before we have to come back."

Adam just nods at Ivory's answer as she then turns to Vivian, who was staring down her phone as she continued her way, "Vi, you got the map?"

"Yeah, and we're just about to hit a secret escape in.. here!"
Vivian looked up from her screen and pointed at a closed, rusty gate. Walking towards it as Deirdre scratched her head, asking "Are you sure that's not loc-"

Her friend kept her phone in one had as she opened the gate door with ease, cutting Deirdre's sentence as she then shrugs it off, following her to the foggy forest with Adam shutting the gate behind them.
