Chapter 3|

Zayn's pov.
We were halfway to the orphanage when Niall shouted while fidgeting with his fingers "Are we there yet" "almost" harry said keeping his eyes on the rode. "Hey Liam when we bring her into the car on the way back home can you drive because I want to back there with her" "no way, I want to be with her too"Liam said looking at harry through the rear view mirror "aww but I don't want to drive back home" "well I am staying back here" "but please" "no" "I don't understand why-" "I'll drive if you guys just stop fighting over something silly" Louis said laughing. Soon we were pulling up in the parking lot of the orphanage. "Yay we are here, I am so nervous but excited" I said smiling wide. "Same, but what a building" Louis said pointing out the window. I have to admit the orphanage is kind of worn out a little bit but it didn't brother me much I just want to get inside.
Liam pov.
As we walked in we saw girls running everywhere giggling with their friends. I could tell this was mostly girl orphanage. "Hi, I'm Mrs.Smith how can I help you guys" a lady came out of an office and was walking towards us grinning. "We made an appointment to adopt a child today" Louis answered. She began to look at a clipboard on the counter then looked back up at us. "Oh, you must be One direction , sorry about that" "it's fine" I assured her "so what age and gender were you thinking about" " a girl 5-9" Niall said really fast trying to be patient. Mrs. Smith laughed at his eagerness and began nodding. Then she went over to this speaker and pressed a button. "All girls 5-9 come down here please, we have guests here to adopt"
Addison's pov.
Right now I was in the corner my room sitting at the little kid desk coloring with my crayons and coloring book. "All girls 5-9 come down here please, we have quests here to adopt" Mrs.Smith announced on the speakers in the room. I started to get a little bit of panic at the bottom of my stomach. I just hope I don't get adopted. I grabbed Gege off my bed and went down the stairs. All the girls there were already in a line so I went to my age group in it. I went behind all the girls so I was hidden enough. Soon I saw 5 teenage boys walking towards us smiling. What do teenage boys want with a child, this might not be good. the boys were talking to some of the girls for a while I got bored so I sat against the wall. I hugging Gege tight to my chest looking down. I saw a shadow in front of me and looked up. Oh no. "Hey sweat heart, my name is Harry what's your name" after he said that I quickly ran up to my room and closed the door. I didn't get a chance to see Harry's face reaction. I set Gege on top of my bed then crawled under my bed so I was hidden. I don't want to get adopted at all. But hopefully that harry curly haired guy won't come up for me.
Harry's pov.
I am not gonna lie, a lot of these girls look very sweet but none of them really got to me. Soon I saw this one little girl huddled up against the wall holding a stuffed monkey. She was so adorable, but she looked very worried unlike the other girls. I walked up towards her and she slowly lifted her head up at me. "Hey sweat heart, my name is Harry what's your name" I asked her gently. She looked at me with panic eyes then ran up the stairs. Did I say something wrong? I walked over to guys when they were talking. "Hey guys, did you find one yet" I asked "sadly no" Niall said "good, because I think I found her" they all looked up at me with hopeful eyes. "Follow me" I said leading them up the stairs. We were in a hallway and only one door was closed I guessed that was hers. I knocked on the door but heard nothing. I shrugged at the lads and opened the door. There lead a small bed in the middle then a window beside it, with a little desk in the corner and a dresser. "Hello" zayn said walking around then we heard a shriek. The guys looked at me confused. Liam got on the ground and looked under the bed. A scream filled are ears as Liam put his arms under the bed trying to reach out for something. Then we saw a little arm peak out. It must have been that little girl I talked to. "Shhh baby calm" Liam pulled out a small girl trying to hang on the bed but he was to strong for her. He picked her up and sat down on her bed putting her in his lap. We came towards him. "What's your name baby" Liam said looking down at her. She was silent for a moment then whispered "Addison" tears streamed her face and she tried to kick her way out of his arms, she pushed Liam chest trying for him to let go. She began to sob louder. "Sweetheart calm down, we aren't going to hurt you" Louis said patting her knee but she pushed his hand away. "Let me go" she yelled crying her eyes out. "Not yet babe, how old are you" zayn said brushing the tears away from her face with his hands. She held up 7 fingers, she started to calm down since she was so worn out from kicking. "Harry can you and zayn sign the adoption papers, Lou and Niall pack her stuff please" Liam said standing up and adjusting Addison on his hip. She started to start sobbing again "please don't adopt please, I wanna stay here" she yelled. Then me and Niall went down stairs to sign the papers.
Addison's pov.
I was about to come out of under my bed when I heard a knock at my door. No no no. Then the door opened and I saw 5 pairs of feet come in. "Hello" an unfamiliar yelled. I soon saw knees on the ground.
One of the guys put his head under the bed. I started to scream then he tried to reach his arms to get me. I started to move to the other side but he grabbed my arm fast trying to get my whole body out. "Shh baby calm down" he said finally getting both of arms dragging me out under the bed sitting me on his lap on my bed. "Whats your name baby" He said, I could feel his eyes on me. "Addison" I whispered really quietly so they won't hear me. I gave up on holding in my tears and then they spilled out. I know if I put up a fight they would leave me alone so I started to kick my way out of his arms but he didn't bulge. I pushed his chest with my tiny hands even though it didn't make a difference. "Sweetheart calm down, we aren't going to hurt you" one with brown hair and blue eyes said to me. He patted my knee and I pushed it away, he had a hurt expression on his face. "Let me go" I yelled trying to get out of his arms. "Not yet babe, how old are you" a guy with a black quiff asked me while brushing some tears of my face. I held up 7 fingers, he nodded then smiled. My breathing got less heavier as I was calming down from all my crying. " Harry can you and Zayn sign the adoption paper, Lou and Niall pack her stuff please" the guy who was holding me said, so that's their names. Tears brimmed my eyes and I started crying again. "Please don't adopt me, I wanna stay here" I said looking at him with pleading eyes. "Sorry baby can't do that" I don't want to go home with anybody let alone 5 teenage boys who could do anything they want with me. To be honest after with my uncle I started to be a little fearful of men. "Baby girl do you have a suitcase" Niall asked me, I pointed to my back pack under the desk. "Liam we have to buy her some more clothes like right away" Lou told Liam as he was stuffing my clothes in the bag. I brought my hands to my face crying. "Poor baby" Liam said rubbing my back. Harry and zayn came back with a folder. "You guys need to sign too" Harry said handing Niall a pen and the folder. "I just want mommy daddy" I sobbed, they looked at me with sympathy. "But how about a set of daddies" Liam said and kissed my cheek. "No" I whispered shaking my head, none of them can be like my parents. "Can I hold her" Zayn asked Liam with a nervous smile " sure mate" Liam said handing me to him." Your ok baby" Zayn said in my ear as he cuddled me into his chest. Once every signed the papers we were about to leave when I forgot about Gege " no no I want Gege" "who is that babe" Harry said looking at me confused. I pointed to my bed. Liam got Gege and handed her to me. I mumbled a quick 'thank you' and held her close to me. When we went downstairs we saw mrs. Smith waiting for us smiling but there were tears in her eyes. I reached my arms out for her, she looked at me than zayn "is it okay if I saw goodbye to her" "no problem" zayn said handing me to her. Once I was in her arms I wrapped my arms around her and put my head in her neck. It made me get emotional knowing that I probably won't see her in awhile. "Please don't let them take me with them" I whispered in her ear "addison listen to me when I say this to you. These boys are really kind guys, they won't hurt you hunny . You just have to trust them, there not like your uncle. I know this is hard for you and it's hard for me letting you go too but please this is good for you" she said wiping a tear off her face while holding me with one arm. " ok I'll try, bye mrs. Smith" I said knowing it's going to be hard doing it then just saying it "bye sweetheart" she said kissing my cheek putting me on the ground. "Thank you" Niall said to her before grabbing my hand in his. "Come on sweety lets go home" Lou said behind me running circles on my back as we started walking out of the building I turned my head and saw Mrs. Smith waving at me with a sad smile. I waved back, harry opened the car door for us. Niall pulled away from my hand getting in the car. I was just standing there still thinking, I know what I said to Mrs.Smith but I was itching to make a run for it back to the building. I think Harry saw me eyeing the orphanage so he quickly picked me up setting me in the car with him. Louis ran to the side of the car and got in starting the engine.
Liam pov.
After about 5 minutes in the car Addison started fidgeting with 'Gege' in harry's lap and looked out the window every 3 seconds nervously. "You okay sweetheart" I asked her with a concerned face. "I'm fine" she mumbled quickly.
Once we got home I took her hand leading her to the front door unlocking it. When we got in her eyes almost popped out. "Huge" she whispered to her self while looking around. "Cutie" zayn murmured smiling down at her. "Let's give her a tour of the house lads" I said gesturing for them to follow us. " this is the kitchen, then you walk through this hallway and here is the living room" we went through every room and told her that we are still working on hers. Plus we showed her that all of our bedrooms are labeled with our names on it. When we went back down in the room she saw a shelf with trophies. "Where did you get those" she ask quietly when we were all speechless knowing that we forgot and need to tell her about the band then she covered her mouth. "I am sorry, I didn't mean to speak" she worried. "Baby don't be scared to talk, it's fine you don't need don't need permission" Harry said crouching down to here level. We then all remembered the question, I guess we have to tell her what we do for a living. "Those are awards, the reason why is that we are a music band called one direction. Which means we do concerts in other areas of the world which is touring. We are going on tour in 2 days actually and your coming with us". "your famous?" She asked us, Lou nodded "plus we have fans and paparazzi that sometimes follow us but they won't hurt you"
Addison's pov.
When they told me They we're famous, it was kinda shocking to know that I was now living with celebrities but it didn't bother me. "You look a tired baby, how about you take a little nap. It will probably be dinner time when you wake up" zayn said picking me up going upstairs with the guys following us. Zayn was right I was getting really sleepy. We went into his room he lied me under the covers in his bed. I cuddled Gege close to my chest and closed my eyes. Each one of them kissed my cheek then exited the room.
