Back with y/n, I took a few days to arrive to America once more. Luckily she was to be stationed in California for a while before being sent somewhere else. Upon landing, y/n gathered her belongings and exited her flight craft. There waiting for her was her new commanding officers and Sargent.

"C/N, Welcome back." A dark tone skin man name Foley spoken as he saluted the girl. Y/n returned the gesture before nodding. "Nice to be back." She spoken while resting her stance. "I heard so much about you from Captain Price and Laswell. Sorry about Shepherd and the shadows." The man said now walking along side the girl. "It's alright, as long we don't have a problem." Y/n spoke as she now entered her new station based home.

It wasn't long for the tour of the base to end. Y/N was given a smaller room since she would just use it for a short while. Y/n was then introduced with other classes and even offered a few new crew friends. "Well of it isn't the C/N." A voice rang out to her "I thought this whole time they was talking about a guy. With the name and all." One female with a short red hair spoke as she looked from her group and gasped.

Y/n face had still been covered from her mask forgetting she ever had it on in the first place. "I'm sorry that's Noki, she get excited when we get new recruits. Im Andrea." A smaller woman with black hair and dark skin tone introduced.

She then eyed the patches on y/ns vest. "You're in task force right? What bring you here." Andrea spoke as she stood up and shook Y/N's hand. Y/n just shrugged. "Foley didn't give me full intel, I was just needed for examination." Y/n gave a clear answer. "I see." Andrea said.

"We'll then c/N, come settled down with us anytime and enjoy your holiday break here in sunny California. We get all get go home in a few days to be with our family. Do you have family here?" A man with short brown hair name Tyler spoke out. All y/n did was nod her head. "Yah, my parents, but I haven't seen them in 4 years." Y/n spoke before readjusting her shoulders. "Wait really, How's that?" Noki said with a shocking look.

"My parents stoped showing up after two years. Then after that I've been deployed around America and finally being overseas." Y/n said before being called on. "C/N!" A voice rang from behind her, y/n turned and followed the source.

As the weeks passed y/n had been seen upon by many higher ups. They all like how Y/N was shaped into all but the sight of her covered face. Kinda making her a bit tense to look at. Anyways todays the day where y/n get to be taped out to her biological family for the holiday. Y/n was feeling a bit septical about the idea of seeing her real family for the first time in a long, long time.

4 years to be exact, she doesn't know what they will think of her. Will they even be here waiting for her? The panics is now set deep within y/ns guts as she packed a few items for her stay. As she packed her small bag, a nock was heard coming from her door and that interrupted y/n thinking. "Come in!" Y/n spoke before eyeing the figures that entered the room.

It's was the group she been hanging out for a while now, still don't quite trust them yet but their still good people. "Hey C/N, you all set?" Andrea spoke while eying the set up room. "Yah got a few essential stuff ready." Y/n spoke as she watched Tyler picked up her photo frame. "Whoa are these your teammates?" He spoke while eyeing it. Y/n just nods.

"Yes." Was all she said before seated on the edge of her neatly made bed. "Whoa not to be mean but they looked mad goofy." Noki spoke while now taking the photo from Tyler. "NOKI!" Both Andrea and Tyler spoke to the woman.

"What it's true, I mean look one wares a bucket hat another a Mohawk and the big one with a skull mask, who are they anyways?" Noki said confused. Y/n rolled her eyes before clearing her throat. "The bucket hat is my captain leader, "Price". The guy next to him is "Gaz." The Mohawk is my best buddy "Soap." And the masked man is my partner "Ghost." Y/n spoke before leaning on her elbows.

"No way you're dating that masked man, is he ugly or handsome underneath?" Tyler spoke as he looked surprised. Y/n looked at all three confused. "Very handsome and very serious in his work though but we're working out the details between us." Was all y/n said before standing up.

"Cute, anyways so you want to go to the dining hall with us?" Andrea spoke and y/n agreed. Soon all four exist Y/Ns room and down the halls.

It's is now very early in the morning as everyone stood on a cleared cemented flooring. All in positions while overlooking the large crowd of civilian waiting for the clearance to tap their long over missed babies.

Y/n scanned the crowed to find any resemblance of her family but fail to recognize any familiarity since it's been a while. Soon the families where set to roam for their soldier. After a few moments all they can hear was crying and laughter coming from already taped out soldiers. Y/n still remained in her position. No one yet claims to come get her, maybe it's for the best.

Only a few people left standing while some already went home.
Y/n was about to give up that hope of expecting her family to find her, maybe they're still mad at her for leaving them six years ago at the age of 21. Y/n dozed off into the distance as she didn't realize an older looking man and a mocha skin woman now standing in front of her.

Behind them we're three same skin tone sibling's. One boy and two girls, all much older then y/n herself. Y/n focus on her surroundings as a woman cried and tackled y/n in a hug.
"Mi hija!" The woman cried out. It turned out that she was Y/Ns mother. Y/N hugged her back and the rest of the family surrounded the girl in a big hug. "Bienvenido a casa." Her dad spoke with happiness. Y/n eyed her family but still didn't spoke, she was in to much shock, actually how did they know it was her.

"We missed you, N/N!" Her siblings now took turn hugging
y/n in a bone crushing way. As they pulled away her mother was quick to cuff her daughter cheeks, she gently pulled her mask down and their eyes widen.

"Dios mio, mira tu hermosa cara, what have they done to you?" She said worried. Y/n gently lowers her mothers hands. "Mama, estas son mis medallas de la victoria." Y/n said lightly as she smiled, her mother thumbs light tracing each scars.

Upon arriving to y/ns memory home she noticed that nothing had changed much. When entering the home y/n was barged with childhood memories. Y/n forgotten how amazing she had her life back then. "Come Hija, this is yours room." Her mother spoke as she lead y/n to her old room. The room looked to be changed over the years but still... it was still her room. Y/n smiled before settling her stuff down. "I've missed home and all of you guys." Y/n said as she hugged both her parents.

"Unpack, tell us your journey." Her father ushered as he lightly placed the final bagging next to the girl. Y/n nods as everyone gathered around her. "Where to begin?" She questioned.

After a few stories of her journey of the course and battles to her last recent mission in Mexico to even mention her about her army family. Let's say Y/N was not ready to mention her blooming relationship since they will go nuts if they find out she's in love with a British, guero man who looks to be sent from the devil himself.

The family seen photos of y/n and the rest of the 1-4-1. "Are you the only girl on this team?" Her father asked confused to notice the lack of other woman's. Y/n suck up a breath. "No papa there more but they are placed all over the world, I happened to be the only one in town." Y/n spoke with radiant. "Oh my, be careful out there, you may never know what might happen." Her mother started to warn her. You know how moms be.
