I had just finished doing my hair, I picked up my phone seeing a text from Dougie "I'm outside in the black bmw"  I responded with an ok, as I walked out of my room.

"Cuidado mari y pórtate bien" My mom said to me as I walked out the room "I will" I responded as I walked out the apartment.

(Translation: Be careful mari and behave)

Walking down the steps due to the fact that the elevator was broken and I knew they never planned on fixing it.

I walked up to his car and opened the door already smelling the strong ass weed. "Hey ma" Dougie said as I walked in "hey" I responded "you tryna stay in the v and do this or my house" He asked "your v is fine" I responded and he nodded his head and pulled his car over.

I unbuckled my seatbelt so I could be more comfortable as Dougie did the same. "Tell me more about you" Dougie said as she grabbed his rolling tray. "Well for starters i'm 21, i'm in my second year of law school, I have two sisters  which you obviously know Alexis and Jazelle, I just enjoy chilling and not doing so much things, and that's all I have to say" I said as I looked down at my nails. "What about you" I said as she looked at me slightly smiling.

"I hang out mostly with my brothers Kay and Blovee, i'm 21 as well, I got a lil sister Ashley who's like 7, ion like girls who be out in the streets everyday" He said shortly and I nodded my head "my sister Jazelle is around Ashley's age" I said "we gotta set them up then" Dougie said as she slightly laughed "for sure" I said.

(a/n: idk if dougie has siblings so ashley is made up)

"I could tell you have a close bond with them guys" I said "you stalking me or sum" Dougie asked as I chuckled at his response "no but I wouldn't admit something like that, but you guys at the party looked pretty close" I said "they like my brothers for real ion know what I would do without dem" Dougie replied sounding some what genuine.

"I was exactly like that with my best friend Alana" I said feeling myself get kinda hurt as I thought about the Alana situation, "whatcha mean was?" Dougie asked "well she died due to suicide, she's actually the reason my I started law" I said as Dougie finished rolling up "i'm sorry bout dat" Dougie said as she held my hand.

I enjoyed his company the way he genuinely cared about me even if we just met. "This is embarrassing" I said as I referred to me slightly crying "nah it isn't I feel like niggas keep there feelings to themself till a point that they break" Dougie said "you should be a therapist" I said "I can't be one if I can't control my own problems" he said as she placed the blunt to his lips and inhaled.

"Tell me what's really on your mind" I asked he exhaled and responded to my question "well one of my brothers Jb and Jayrip died and I feel like shi ain't goin right after that, when I try to talk to Kay and Blovee or anyone else about it they just laugh or think i'm joking around" he said as he passed the blunt to me.

"Maybe they don't really know how to deal with those type of conversations, i'm not saying that it's right for them to be laughing but maybe there not made for that type of stuff since they have to put on a face as if they don't care about the world" I said and Dougie agreed with me "it's feels mad good to talk to someone who understands me" he said which made me smile, once again.

"Has anyone told you that you look mad beautiful" Dougie said which made me blush and turn my head to the window "nah don't turn your head now" he said as she grabbed my chin and made me face him. "Your mad fine" I mumbled hoping that he didn't hear that "you said what" he asked "nothing" I replied but he wouldn't let it go "nah nah say it" he said again "fine I said you are mad fineeee" I dragged out which made him smile "I like your smile it's look real" I said "whatchu mean real" he said confused "like a genuine smile as if you really mean it" I said as he finally got what I said.

Some time went by and it was now eleven. The weed had effect me and Dougie as she continued to take pulls from it. "Hold on my little sister is calling" I said as I picked up my phone and seen a call from 'Jazelle🤍'

"Hey Mari" Jazelle said as her face was in the camera "hey baby why aren't you asleep" I asked Jazelle "Mami said I could have ten more minutes on the ipad" she answered me "are you with your boyfriend" Alexis yelled in the background, it made me slightly blush as Dougie just smirked "nah move Jaz lemme talk to her" Alexis said "don't talk to her like dat" I said as my new york accent came out.

"So where are you Mariana Maliana Reyes" Alexis said which made Dougie laugh and whisper "the whole gov is crazy" which made me slightly hit his arm playfully "minding my business something you should do" I said as I groaned in annoyance "you be asked me where i'm at" Alexis replied "maybe because ur still a child" I said. "Just tell me please i've been dying to know" Alexis said as she begged "and why does Dougie B follow you" she asked.

I looked at dougie and laughed "nah don't tell me you wit Dougz right now" she said as she gasped. Dougie took my phone and put himself in the camera "yoo wassgood lil sis" he said as Alexis yelled "how did you bag my sister bro she bad as hell" Alexis said which made me and Dougie bust out laughing "she want me and I want her it's easy now bye" Dougie said as she hung up.

"She such a hater" I said "I agree" he said. I felt tired and closed my eyes for a second "do you want me to take you home" he asked "yes please" I said as he nodded his head.

I felt Dougie tap on my shoulder "ya ass better not be dead I can't catch a murder charge" he said as I opened my eyes "you won't" I replied "well he here" he said "thank you I really enjoyed tonight" I said as I picked up my bag "we gotta do this again" he said which made me agree "goodnight dougie" I responded "goodnight Mariana" he responded and with that he waited till I got inside the complex and then left.
