I've been hanging out with Nick since potions. He seems so sweet and nice. Why would Riddle want me to be careful of him?

Maybe hes just jealous i dont know why he would be though.

After an hour with Nick, i went back to the common room and into my dorm.

I forgot about Aunt Emmas letter.

I took it out my pocket, opened it and read it.

Hey, Y/n

I'm glad your starting to like Hogwarts just like your parents.

Y/n i should of told you ages ago, but i thought it was better not to. You have a brother. His name is Aiden Massery. Please be careful, dont trust people quickly. 

Also, i heard theres something new at your school, The Triwizard Tournament? We never had it when we was at Hogwarts but i have heard its amazing but really dangerous. 

Anyways, please be careful. Your brother is looking for you and that isn't good.

She knew i had a brother... but didnt tell me? Why is my brother even looking for me? He follows Voldemort and looking for me.... this cant be good.

I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in"

Pansy entered with a smirk on her face.

"So you and Nick?"

"Oh my god, can't i hang out with boys now?"

"Whatt. I mean, Nick is cute so good choice."

I rolled my eyes.

"We are just friends, Pansy"

"Suree, we will see what you say later" She winks at me.

I look down at the letter, fold it and look up.

"I kinda wanna go to the library and research about my brother. Wanna come with me?"

"Sure"

"lets go then"

We head out to the library.

"Ugh i cant find anything about my brother."

I slam the book i was reading shut.

"Maybe its in the restricted section."

"Yeah well we cant get a book there without permisson"

"Wait... i can ask Professor Flitwick, he does like me more now." I say, getting up.

"Okayy, ill wait here."

"Alright."

I knocked on the Charms classroom door.

No answer.

I open the door. It was pitch black. 

Weird.

Then i heard whispering in the corner.

I get my wand out

"Lumos" I mutter.

Light appears out the end.

I go to the corner.

"and if her brother comes here?"

"We need to get rid of her. We dont want her to be the reason that Hogwarts collapsed again."

"No, we aren't going to get rid of her Severus. We will protect her."

"That will take to long. Just watch her every step then expel her for touching someone or something"

"Severus, we aren't going to expel her."

"Whatever."

I heard footsteps heading my way.

"Nox" I barely whisper. 

I get out the classroom and run back to the library.

"So, did you get the note?"

"No... but now i know that Snape wants me expelled so Hogwarts doesn't collapse but all the teachers disagree"

"What? Why would he say that?"

"So my brother doesn't ruin the school since hes looking for me."

"What did the teachers say?"

"That they are gonna protect me. They are acting as if i cant already"

"Let's research your brother tomorrow.  We have charms tomorrow anyway so we can ask Professor Flitwick for permisson"

"Alright"

We put the books back and headed to the common room.

"Im gonna go to bed early, see ya tomorrow" I say.

I smile at Pansy and head to my dorm.

I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling.

Snape doesn't like me, so he wants me expelled which means he never liked my brother.

God, things can't be more complicated than it is.

A/N Note- I know this chapter is short but i didnt know what else to say. The next chapter will take place when the Dumbledore reads out the names for those who are going to participate in the Triwizard Tournament. Hope you enjoy!
