"What's up geek."

Chenle interrupted Jisung's attempt to look like he was actually studying. It was a bluff anyway. He threw away the textbook as soon as he and Haechan entered his gloomy bedroom. He attempted to be prepared for he and Jaemin's first session, but he didn't even know what the heck to study which was why he was in tutoring to begin with.

Chenle left the door cracked behind him, "Mrs.Park says come downstairs for a snack, you've been a hermit for too long."

"Ehh I don't feel like eating." Jisung groaned. He had snacked on convenience store items just an hour before and ruined his appetite for the rest of the day.

"Oh!" Haechan said while searching on the bed for Jisung's tv remote, "I heard you have a new tutor."

Chenle shot his head over at Haechan... "A new tutor?" Then his head went back to Jisung... "I thought your dad wouldn't allow it."

Jisung blinked. "apparently...just not with you."

Chenle pouted, "oh.. Right. Your dad dislikes rich people." Then he looked down on Jisung who sat under the dim desk light, "actually so do you."

Jisung shook his head to himself. If only he was around when his father gloated about Chenle and how his good behavior wasn't rubbing off on Jisung fast enough.

Jisung searched for his poetry book in his bag and began eyeballing the last note. Chenle was watching videos on his phone and sitting on the edge of Jisung's desk. He then began hovering over his shoulder after recognizing the gold-ish padded notebook. "Are you writing again?!"

"Kinda," Jisung muttered. He scribbled through a few pens until he could find a good working one there in his drawer. He was totally okay with the fact Chenle was reading through his latest entries, he doubted he even understood it. He was far from the creative type and probably thought in numbers and music notes.

"Hmm," he said, pointing to an entry he slightly understood, "what's this one about.?"

"Oh you know..."

Haechan observed in the background. His head could be seen flopping back and forth but rather than interjecting he was focused on catching up on his favorite comedy daytime. His family were old school and only allowed one tv in the home so Jisung and Chenle's homes were where he took over and recorded his shows to watch at a later time.

Jisung continued the sentence begrudgingly, "Just someone."

Chenle leaned in closer, "You really must like him huh?" he had an instigative expression on his face as if he was expecting some gushy response. He continued beaming at him for a while and it made Jisung uncomfortable.

"Quit staring at me you nutjob."

Chenle laughed, "all right...well I'm going to go get some pineapples. Last chance boys."

After everyone declined once again he headed out the door and down the stairs.

Alas, Haechan finally spoke. "Well I could tell Jaemin how you feel."

Jisung stood up, "DON'T!"

He started to slowly return to his chair after Haechan laughed tauntingly at his outburst. It wasn't as if he was threatening to run to Jaemin's house and tell him at this very moment. "I was only messing with ya. It'll all work out, don't panic."

Sometimes Jisung wished he could return to normal. "I don't even know what I like."

Haechan took his eyes off the tv screen. "Jisunggie. Don't be ridiculous. You like Jaemin as much as I like the king of pop."
