Paul called me earlier and told me Shi will come home from New York. He also told me that Jushi had a bruise on his face which made me worried. Dad was with him. They flew to New York after a day after Paul's daughter's christening.
"Don't freak out, Ady," Bianca said.
Nandito rin siya sa condo ko, hinihintay ang boyfriend n'ya na kasama rin nila Jushi sa New York. Kasama ko sila na mag-ina magmula umalis sila Jushi papuntang New York.
"I won't," I answered.
Pero natatakot ako maaari kong makita. Natatakot ako para kay Jushi. Paano kapag umuwi sa 'kin 'yon na basag ang mukha? Paano kapag halos hindi ko na siya makilala?
We both looked at my phone when it rang. I picked it up immediately because it was Jushi who is calling.
"Yes?"
[Open the door, love.] He said in a soft voice.
I bit my lower lip to stop myself from smiling and stand up to open the door. The moment I opened the door, I was welcomed by a smiling Jushi. He opened his arms to welcome me. I smiled and crashed into his arms.
"I missed you, love." He whispered in my ears.
"I missed you," I answered.
My Dad cleared his throat which made me break the hug. Jushi chuckled when he saw me turned into a prim and proper woman on the side.
"Pasok po," I told Daddy.
Daddy tapped my shoulder and pulled me into a hug. "I love you, honey."
"I love you, too, Dad."
"Let's go inside or you'll have your time with Jun?" He asked when he broke the hug.
I smiled. "May I have my time with Shi, Dad?"
He smiled and looked at Jun behind him. "Sure, honey."
