"That little piece of shit," I scream as I toss a vase across the room.

"Mi amore, calm down," Vincent says as he walks me to the sofa, "I understand that you're angry and it's understandable, but you can't go around throwing vases in Angelo's office."

Vincent grabs hold of me and kisses my forehead, I instantly feel a calm wash over me, he lingers on my forehead, and I take a deep breath in and out.

"You're okay baby," he whispers and kisses my forehead again.

He ushers me to a sofa, I sit down, and he sits down beside me.

"I'm sorry Angelo for breaking your vase,"

He gives me a warm smile, "It's okay Fiore,"

Vincent glares at his brother and Angelo shoots him a smirk.

"We assume that you and McCredie have a history?" Gio questions from the left corner of the room.

I nod, "Back in high school,"

Gio hums, "He's the one that broke your heart?"

Tears well up in my eyes as the pain I felt returns, Vincent curses at Gio and he apologizes.

"Don't cry baby, it's over now, I promise you I'll break his face once the deal is over."

I shake my head, "No, I want to do it."

Vincent kisses my temple, "And I'll let you."

"Okay, I need you, two psychos, to leave my office, I have a meeting in 30 minutes," Angelo says as he walks to the door.

We stood up and Gio got my purse, I walked out into the hallway, and Vincent and Gio remained inside for a few minutes before walking out and we left the building.

I can't believe I lost my composure like that, all because I couldn't leave my personal affairs outside, unprofessional, and immature. Thinking about it makes me wanna throw another vase.

Shift your focus.

I look over at Gio who is looking out the car window, with a worried look on his face.

"Gio, how's AJ, I can't wait to babysit the little champ," I say.

"He's good, he's a handful, just like his mother," he chuckles.

"I can imagine, are you and Mona, okay?"

He remains quiet as though thinking of whether to lie to me or tell me the truth.

"It's tense, I mean with me being temporarily disabled, she's stuck having to do most of the work, and it's taking its toll on her and our relationship."

"You've been here less than a week, you will heal, and things will get better, I promise you and if you ever need to get AJ off your hands, Vincent and I are here to help, right babe?"

Vincent stutters and I elbow him, and he agrees, "Of course, anytime, just not this coming week we are going on vacation,"

Gio draws his eyebrows together, "Really?"

"Yeah, Vincent says that we need to get to know each other, without the distractions," I chuckled.

Gio nods, "I guess, you should enjoy it."

"We will and we can't wait to see AJ, Vincent here is a little scared of babysitting,"

"I'm not scared," Vincent counters.

Gio laughs, "Sounds like you're scared to me Fratello,"

Vincent mutters some swear words under his breath and both Gio and I can't help but laugh.

"You'll be fine, we'll only be leaving him for a few hours and then we'll be back to pick him up before midnight,' Gio explains.

"Don't be silly, you can come to pick him up the next day, you too need some rest and quality time together, so please don't put pressure on yourselves, we can handle it," I reassure him, earning a groan from Vincent but I nudge him again and smiles.

"Julie is right, we will be okay,"

Gio grins, "Thank you,"

The car comes to a stop and Gio opens the door, we were back at the mansion. The three of us walk inside and we hear yelling coming from the kitchen, we follow the sounds, and we find Juan and Sarah in an intense argument in Spain.

"Excuse me," I yell, both turn and look at me and they immediately stop with looks of embarrassment on their faces.

"Capo, I'm sorry, we didn' -

"Why the hell are you yelling in my goddamn mansion, I told you two that you leave your personal issues at home, if I catch you two again fighting like this on my premises, you're fired," Vincent says sternly, "Now get the hell out of my sight."

He sounds so sexy right now, mhm.

Juan leaves on the way and Sarah goes the other.

"Why didn't you ask them what they were yelling about?" Gio questions.

Vincent huffs, "It's none of my or our business,"

I fold my arms, "But they are doing it in your house,"

"Do you mind if we talk upstairs Vincent, I have something I need to tell you," Gio says, "You can come too, my donna."

I look at Vincent and he gives an approving nod, we make our way up the stairs to Vincent's office and Gio closes the door, Vincent pours us some whiskey and we sit down at his desk.

"What is it that you need to tell me?' Vincent asks.

"It's about Juan and Sarah, they used to work for McCredie,' he says.

I knew something was off about those two.

"Yeah, I already know that," Vincent replies and sips on his whiskey.

"Don't you find that odd, especially with what's happened recently? The ship and the suspicious pictures they are leaking information to McCredie," Gio explains.

"What proof do you have?"

Gio remains quiet for a moment, "I'm still investigating but I'm telling you those two aren't meant to be trusted Vince, they are bad news."

"You're basing your allegations on their past, I don't think that's fair," Vince argues, "Or?"

"Or what?" Gio asks.

"You are jealous of Juan,"

Gio chuckles, "That little pipsqueak? Hell no."

"Are you sure about that?"

I can't listen to this.

"Boys no, Vince I agree with Gio, I don't trust those guys, Sarah gives me the creeps and so does Juan, there is an unsettling feeling that I get every time I'm with Sarah like she wants to kill me,' I say.

Vincent laughs, "That's ridiculous, Sarah wouldn't hurt a fly,"

"Why are you so quick to defend them?" Gio yells.

"Because everyone else is so quick to judge them," he yells back.

"You just don't want to admit that you made a mistake by hiring them, for trusting them, like you did Juliet and Carmen,"

"Don't you dare bring Julie and Carmen into this, okay!"

"Vincent, calm down, Gio, I think you should leave," I say.

Gio frowns, "I'm sorry Vince, I just want you to trust me on this,"

Vincent doesn't say a word, he gets up from his chair and walks to the window.

I sigh, I help Gio up from his chair and walk him to the door, "I'll talk to him, I believe and support you Gio."

"Thank you, Donna," he says and leaves the office.

I turn to face Vincent and already looking at me with lust laced in his eyes. Here I was thinking he was angry; the man was just horny.
