General pov; it's been a couple days since Kelly help detective pryma with a case that turned out was to help save the cop that was coming after Kelly and Stella a couple months ago, which didn't make Kelly happy at all so for the past couple nights, Kelly has been not sleeping that well, right now it's 3 o'clock in the morning and Stella just won't ever been noticed that Kelly wasn't in bed

S= hey where are you going?
K= I'm going to get a jump on the date couldn't sleep
S= oh, so this is a thing huh
K= I don't know about a thing
S= did pryma reach out to you again
K= I think I was pretty clear about where I stood
S= yes you were but here you are out the door at 4 AM again are you having second thoughts?
K= are you
S= I don't know Kelly of this Martucci guys as bad as pryma says, he is and the Kavanaugh deal will help nail him
K= we don't know that it will. If it doesn't we're putting a dirty cop back on the street for nothing.
S= yeah there's no easy answer on this one
K= I'll see you at the fire house

Kelly leave the house to head into work early so solid sites to head back to bed to sleep until it's time to get up for work, a couple hours later truck in squad gets called to eight which where it biker got stuck because the bridge came up while he was waiting on it so Kelly climbed up, rescued him when they got back to the fire house. Stella Kelly and Carver got called into the Chiefs office.

S= hey Carver  finish that later Boden need to see us
CB= come on and you to close the door and have a seat, so do you want to tell me what happen with the bridge tender today on your call?
SC= the guy with used to comply with my direction chief so I had to take to control myself and there wasn't trying to be polite about it
S= I was planning on noting it in my incident report It didn't seem like a big thing to meet you
CB= well apparently the other guy disagrees a lot more than impoliteness. He said Carver put his hands on him.
K= if Carver hadn't done it, you all would be having this meeting without me
CB= well unfortunately it has moved beyond me know internal affairs division is sending somebody over today to take his statement
S= are you kidding me IAD's involved already?
CB= that's what happens when a city employee files a complaint
K= we save the day of man's life ( runs off)

Stella notices how Kelly's attitude was in the office so she runs after him

S= hey can you hold up for a minute?
K= what's up
S= I don't know you tell me what's going on if you
K= what do you mean?
S= you were pretty fired up in there you've been on edge for days look I know the whole Pryma  really  threw you for a loop
K= the pryma thing is over. I'm done thanking about it.
S= are you it doesn't seem like it. It feels to me like it's still wearing on you and I know that I said there are no easy answers here. I'm not sure that's really true I mean if someone is in trouble you don't sit and asked what happened and why are you get in there? You do whatever you got to do to help them right that's what you did on the bridge that's just who you are.
K= put on a call I have some control over the situation with pryma and Kavanaugh I got none I'm totally at their mercy
S= so talk to Pryma then and maybe it's time you take control of this thing

Kelly thinks about what Stella says to him and he said she is weights of Kelly tries in calls  pryma He doesn't answer so he leaves a message now he went on him to either call him back or to come see him about an hour later

DP= what's so urgently Lieutenant
K= I want to talk to him, face-to-face
DP= to who
K= Kavanaugh
DP= what the hell for no that's
K= I need to look him in the eye before I agreed to let him walk
DP= luck handling informant is a delicate business all right you go at them the wrong way you could spook them make them clam up you can blow the whole Martucci
K= you let me talk to him or I'm out

Pryma leaves and thinks about Kelly's offer later that night he calls Kelly to come to the district

DP= I'm telling you now this better not be some revenge fancy you're looking to play out here
K= just let me in ( he does)
TK= so
K= did Detective Pryma tell you who I ( nods ) did you know what Campbell was planning on doing with the information you slipped him on my wedding night?
TK= not exactly did I think he was looking to take you out for a drink? No, of course not to be honest with you I don't give a rats ass what he did with that information. As long as he paid me I'm not saying that's why I'm not saying I feel good about it.
K= he almost killed my wife
TK= I know what can I say I betrayed my oath as a cop I diss, honored myself my family for a little bit a pocket change what it was in the end, and I got to live with that for the rest of my life so whatever you came here to say it ain't going to be any worse than that Pal
K= nice speech I get how you almost convinced Pryma
TK= what the hell do you even come here for
K= to see if you were the Linchpin to the Mattucci investigation and I ain't buying it
TK= come on man you're you're gonna send a copy to prison I mean you know what that means
K= I do that's why I think you'd say anything to avoid it Pryma get me out of here I'm done with this guy. This was a mistake.
TK= hey. Martucci. He  knows you're gonna fuck is so planning a decoy operation

Kelly leaves and is happy that he did go to see him the next day on shift. He tell Stella what all went down when he saw Kavanaugh.

S= and did Pryma say when they can move on Martucci
K= I didn't ask he didn't tell but whatever happens I'm fine putting it in the rear view
S= yeah, me too

Over the next hour, the whole firehouse learns, who won the free get away which the winner happened to be Herman then they are headed to the courthouse to watch Joe and Chloe get to adopt Javi and they can be a family for sure then at the end of the adoption hearing truck 81 and ambulance 61 gets called away to a scene
  
M= whoa
SC= all this for one barricaded suspect
S= hey what's going on
PW= that's above my pay grade but it's going to be something major. I've never seen anything like this.
DP= ( in the megaphone) you have 30 more seconds come out this doesn't get any better for you if anybody gets hurt Martucci
BG= you ever been to anything like this
SC= nope
S= kelly it's Martucci. Yeah they're taking him down now.
K= what pryma there
S= yeah it's a huge operation
K= on my way

DP= times up Matteucci we're coming in
S= tuck in tight come on

Within minutes of police go inside in the battle of gunfire starts, and then at some point a explosion goes off

SG= medics we need the medics
PW= they're calling for a medic up there
S= let's go to stay low stay ( moved op)
SG= all clear, medics over here, where the hell is my bomb squad
S= what's going on
SG= thanks still and it's like it didn't donate. I don't know how.
S= what is in his
SG= rocket propeller grenade
S= is it pryma ( nods )
SG= he's bleeding like stuck pig there and we can't move him. We could set off the grenade in level this whole damn house.
S= so what's the plan?
SG= I'm sending in the bomb squad to deal with the unexpected ordinance, but Pryma needs medical attention. Immediately we need get two of you, set it up and in there right away.
M= I'll go
BG= I'll do it
M= let me go, Lieutenant, it should always be the oldest in the situation
BSG= ma'am
S= OK it's me and
SC= I know how to start an IV apply a tourniquet just
S= OK Carver you're with me the rest of you standby for search and rescue in case things don't go away

Estella in Carver get their you're on what goes over how to do things with Carver and white when they're starting to walk into the house squad three shows up to the scene

K= t what here hey what's happening? Where is Stella? What is it? Where is she? ( sees her entering the house.)
BSG=  stay behind me stuff for Eye step
DP= get the hell out of here Lieutenant you don't need to be here
S= we're not going anywhere all right

Well, Stella in Carver helps the bomb squad guy get the grenade out of pryma lake outside. Kelly was waiting to go inside, but the Chiefs and swat guys hold him back, even though he really wants to go in there to protect his wife inside they slowly are we moving their grenade, but also giving fluids to detective pryma. The grenade is removed, and as the van Scott guy is slowly taking it outside. It clicks and it's ready to go off so they all take cover. Stella tips a table up and jumps on top of Carver and pryma. And that's the cliffhanger.

Authors note: I literally did not think that would be the cliffhanger until the day of the episode airing. How frustrating is that hopefully we will know she will be OK in the new year. Stella is a bad ass for jumping on top of two grown men, so hopefully she gets some kind of accommodation for what she did. I'll be so proud of her. I know Kelly will be also who else still loves when he calls Stella his wife.
