My POV

I was struggling to breathe as I looked around I could feel needles stabbing my chest as I breathe yes breathing causes me pain my name is Finn akio and when I was little I was diagnosed with a terminal condition that has never been discovered before something called glass heart

I was born with heart cells that slowly became rigid and fragile like glass everytime I breathe microscopic cracks appear so I've been breathing through an oxygen tank my life has been spent in the hospital but lately it has been worse doctor said I only have a few days left and unfortunately this was my last day on earth

I could hear sobbing and turned my neck and tuned to see my mom and my little sister my sister's name is Kira akio

Me: mom please don't cry mom and Kira it's going to be okay

Kira: it's not onee-chan they said you would sleep and not wake up forever just like papa

She said with tears in her eyes

Mom: Kira please don't cry it'll only make matters worse

Kira:but mom you're crying too

Me: you guys please stop seeing you both crying is hurting me too

My dad died when I was 6 years old he died in his sleep(join the club bro) no one knew what happened in the evening he was fine but in the morning he refused to wake up

Me: guys guys please just listen to me I'm going to die soon so what that doesn't stop you guys from living so please promise me that you'll live on for me

Mom: don't say things like that please don't

She said in tears

She said hugging me I felt her wet tears splash against my pale skin I could feel my each breath become rough I began to loose feeling of my legs I felt hungry but the hunger was no longer there, my lungs too felt non existent
