3rd pov:

Neteyam woke up first, his eyes fluttering open to stare at the glowing ceiling of the cave, gradually he begun to take in his surroundings, the storm had stopped by the sounds of it but there was still no sunlight leaking through the crevice.

This made the young Na'vi man relax, and turn his attention to the peacefully sleeping woman cuddled into this ide, hugging his body in a koala fashion, the end of her tail curled and uncruled around his ankle in a gentle motion following her breaths.

Neteyam's heart felt somewhat heavy with guilt, he had become so used to doing whatever his dad said, he never liked to disappoint him and rarely did, is this what Lo'ak constantly feels like.

He knew his parents didn't need another burden, another child to worry about when Lo'ak was being Lo'ak, Kiri was seizing, Spider's all the way back home and Tuk is still a young child. Neteyam was meant to be the one holding his family together, the glue, he had always been the third parent.

But as he watched the gleeful movements of his wife's tail, he knew he had to let go of those feelings, he was their child too, but it felt like he never got his own life, he lived to give his siblings a better life and his parents an easier one, sometimes he thought about what it would be like being an only child. How different would he have turned out? But he loved his siblings too much to wish them away. Now he had Kolanan and he was so excited to really start living with her, sharing their lives, he was ecstatic he got the perfect woman and he could let go of the label that had always seemed to define him. The golden child. He hated it, well, guess he isn't so golden anymore, he'll be lucky his dad doesn't beat the shit out of him.

Neteyam leaned in to lay a soft kiss on Kolanan's head, so grateful for all she has given him and all she will in the future.

She really woke him up.

It's not his job to be perfect, so he was gonna walk to his family, head held high and holding her hand. They'll probably get the gist of what happened tonight.

The good news is the couple wasn't glowing bright orange with a sign above their head saying 'mated' or 'super healing powers'.

They could still hide it from Kokoam and the clans.

A scuttling from the crevice grabbed Neteyam's attention, he sat up slightly causing Kolanan to wake up.

"What's wrong?"

"I heard something from the entrance."

Then he saw it, tiny blue hands poking out the crevice, feeling around.

His heart relaxed slightly, realising it was Tuk.

But the look on her face gave the pair a reason to not be so calm.

"They're in here!" Tuk called out of the crevice, "Don't worry we covered the tracks you left from the mud, and we covered our own." She said reassuringly at the couple's panicked faces.

The whole of the Sully family began to pour in, Jake barely fitting with a couple of scratches on his back.

"What is this place?" Kiri marvelled at the sight.

"Private." Neteyam rolled his eyes, sitting up further to cover Kolanan and their still connected queues, this was not the way to find out. "You shouldn't be here." Neteyam avoided his parents' gaze.

But he could feel it, his dad's suspicion, they were cuddled up in a clearly spiritually active place, and Neteyam was currently blocking the view of his girlfriend and their queues.

It didn't take long for Jake to connect the dots.

"Neteyam, what is this place?" He spoke the gritted teeth already growing in anger.
