Icarus Rose [TRANSLATION]

Chapter Nineteen

The summer had begun, they stopped attending boarding school because of the summer break, and the boys would not miss any opportunity they had to go out and play in the garden.

"I count Li, you go hide." Zayn said happily, the alpha smiled and ran to the backyard.

There were many places in the house where they could hide, but they were not allowed to play inside as there were old objects that had a lot of monetary and sentimental value, and Mr. Malik had threatened the boys about what would happen to them if any of those objects were found broken.

"Ready or not, here I come!" The little omega yelled and began to look for the alpha.

He knew exactly how to find Liam, he just had to focus on his scent and he would know where to go. He closed his eyes and let himself be guided by that smell of coffee that he loved so much.

He walked through the huge field of white roses feeling closer and closer, and after a few minutes he caught sight of Liam's figure sitting among the roses, and a smile appeared on his face. He circled the spot to come up behind and surprise his alpha, once he got there he wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.

"I found you!" He exclaimed quietly, making Liam laugh, who turned around and kissed Zayn fondly.

"I thought you'd never find me here!" They both laughed and the omega sat on his lap hiding his face in Liam's neck. He took a deep breath and caught another scent.

"You smell like roses." Liam smiled.

"Well, we're in the middle of hundreds of roses, of course I smell like that." Zayn inhaled again and shook his head.

"I always knew you smelled like coffee, but you also smell like roses." He kissed his neck and separated to look into his eyes. "You know, that will be good for when we are away from home. I will always feel at home when you are with me."

The alpha smiled widely and kissed the omega feeling how his heart was pounding.

"I love you." He said in the middle of the kiss. Deep inside he knew that he still didn't fully understand the meaning of those words, but what he had no doubt about was that Zayn was his omega, his soulmate.

"Come on Niall, I want to go for a walk with Clifford before we have to go eat dinner." Louis complained as he waited for Niall to come out of the bathroom.

"I'm coming, wait!" He yelled from the other side of the door. Louis sighed impatiently and patted the pup's head.

When the door finally opened, both alphas went out into the courtyard under the watchful eyes of the guards who protected the house. They both began to walk around the huge property, the pup stopping at each bush to sniff it and Niall running from one side to the other. They walked through the beautiful white roses field and Louis began to scold Niall as he wanted to steal one of them to give it to Barbara.

"Niall, stop that. Dad is going to punish us if he sees that you plucked a rose." The blue-eyed alpha said in a whisper. The blond stuck out his tongue in response and moved away from the other alpha a little.

"Shh... they're going to listen to us. Keep quiet." Whispered a voice among the rose bushes.

"Niall." He called quietly, the blond looking at him with a frown.

"What do you want?" Louis rolled his eyes and approached him without making a sound.

"Did you hear that?" Confusion reigned on the minor's face as he looked everywhere. "There's someone here."

"Hey... no. If they listen to us we're going to get into trouble." That voice whispered again and both alphas looked at each other.

"It can't be an intruder!" The blond exclaimed in a low voice. "We must protect the house from this threat, Lou."

He looked to both sides and put his hands together pretending they were a weapon, Louis imitated his action and they put their backs together.

"We have to protect our family," he commented following Niall's game, "you go that way and I'll go this way. Whoever catches the intruders first wins."

The boys separated, and walked among the huge rose field in search of the weird voice they had heard. The guards guarding the area looked curiously at the suspicious walking children, but ignored them knowing it was some silly game.

"Raise your hands!" Niall shouted after jumping catching that intruder he was looking for, he pointed his hands to the front and his eyes could not believe what was in front of him.

"Shut your mouth. We don't want them to find us!" Zayn said quietly still with his hands in the air. His lips were red and swollen from the kisses Liam had given him.

"LOUIS!" He yelled at the top of his voice calling the alpha, "LOUIS, I FOUND THEM!"

"Niall, shut up!" Liam ordered, but the blond didn't pay attention to him.

"Niall. What happened? Where..." Louis said, concerned when he arrived, he pointed his hands at Zayn and Liam still playing but Niall suddenly made him drop them. "Ouch! What's wrong with you?"

"Stop playing silly games, Louis!" The alpha looked at him offended. "This is not the time to be childish! I told you! I told you!" He started singing the words happily as he jumped around. Louis's eyes locked on Zayn and Liam and he finally understood what was happening. He let go of the puppy's leash and brought his hand to his mouth in surprise.

"This can't be true!" He yelled.

"Don't you understand what it means to shut your mouth? You dumb alphas!" Zayn spoke and stood up, knowing full well that the boys had killed the moment. He reached out his hand to help Liam up and he took it.

"Is everything in order? We heard screams." Asked one of the guards, peering into the scene. They all looked at him in surprise and laughed.

"No, it's just that we found Zayn and Liam having some..."

"Fights!" Liam yelled, interrupting the blond's words, who looked at him with a frown.

"We were playing cops and robbers." The omega lied with a huge smile on his face to hide guilt. The guard rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Just be quiet and go get cleaned up for dinner. Mr. Malik doesn't like you to eat dinner without getting cleaned up beforehand." With that said, he turned around and walked to where he was before.

"You two, stupid alphas." Zayn said under his breath with annoyance and walked to the house.

"Do you see what you just caused? Now Zayn is going to be mad all day and he's not going to want to play with me." Liam complained and chased after Zayn. Niall snorted and looked at Louis.

"Play he says, HA!" He scoffed. "No one is going to believe that." Louis rolled his eyes and walked towards the house, feeling a young Niall following him as he yelled for him to wait.
