"NOOO!" He screamed, tearing his throat, he screamed feeling like a part inside him was gone". Tell me it's not true... tell me Louis isn't dead.

Hours before the end.

I always knew that my life would end in two ways, filling my father's chair, or my lifeless body resting in the field of white roses, but I decided to focus on other things, I avoided anticipating that moment that would inevitably come, because I didn't I wanted to get used to the idea that Liam, my Liam, would see me that way.

The plan was made, rule until the last rose withered, until the last petal fell and Icarus Rose spilled the last drop of her blood, just as our father wanted. But things don't always go as planned, every time the butterflies flutter, every time we prick ourselves with the thorns of the white roses in the garden when we were little, every time my puppies smile, the plan changes, I change.

I don't know what will happen from now on, I don't know if I'm being too paranoid writing this farewell letter, but I want you to know something very important, the secrets we keep, the life we lead... I would never wish it on anyone, much less to you... much less to our children, but I am sure that they are the future of our empire, Blair, Blake, River and Avery Malik, the four heirs of Icarus Rose, and if they decide to have more puppies, they will also be part of it, of the legacy, part of our legacy.

I wish you luck in the future, brothers, you are the best thing that could have happened to me.

And to Liam, my alpha, I assure you that a life without me can't be that bad if you keep your head up.

With love, Zayn.

The blood was being cleaned up by some people who were part of Michael Mendes' staff, carpets were being removed and new ones were being put in different places, windows were being replaced as well as parts of the walls being repainted. The bosses were sitting around the huge table in the conference room discussing their options on what to do to get rid of Charles and Edmund. Liam had called the academy so that the few guards who were in training would be in charge of protecting the perimeter of the house, but not before having interrogated and threatened them in case of any sign of treason; Niall had been immediately taken to the special nursing area that was located in one of the sub-basements of the house, where the family doctor was in charge of treating his wounds and administering his medications while waiting for a speedy recovery. The young alpha had insisted that he too wanted to be part of the operation, but they had all agreed that he needed to stay and rest.

"So, reviewing the plan, once in Doncaster we are going to surround the perimeter of the house with guards. Zayn and Liam's group will be in charge of clearing the first floor, the second group will go directly to the second floor and the third to the second floor from the back." Harry recited aloud, everyone nodded. "I'll take care of my father himself, this is a personal matter."

"What? You're not going to Doncaster." Louis snapped at his omega.

"Louis, I am not asking you for permission. I'm telling you that I'm going to take care of my father personally. I am informing you about my decision over this matter, you are not my boss, nor my owner, so you can't tell me what to do." Louis grunted and got up from his seat, walking towards Harry.

"But I'm your alpha," he said angrily, Harry rolling his eyes.

"Sit back down and shut up if you're going to have this kind of outburst, you idiotic alpha, we don't have time for this." He answered as calmly as he could, Louis reluctantly sat down. Men surrounded the perimeter of the property, on the roof of the house, hidden among the bushes and trees, ready to shoot in case of any mishap.
