Chapter Twenty Seven

The days passed quickly in the Icarus Rose mansion. Zayn and Harry were secretly planning something, and every time Louis asked his omega what it was, he simply hid on his neck and began to place small soft kisses in that area until his alpha forgot about the subject. Harry had started taking milder suppressants that didn't hide his scent at all, he knew he couldn't have a puppy that fast with Louis, he wanted to enjoy some time of being just his and his alpha.

Jane arrived at the house on December 20 along with Stella, they brought many gifts and were eager to help prepare dinner with Barbara, with whom she continued to maintain contact after meeting.

"My little puppy, look how radiant you look. You're doing a great job, Louis." The omega had said as soon as they all entered the house together.

December 24th approached faster than expected, and although the omegas of the house had already gone shopping for that special day, Harry felt nervous. How would Louis react? Footsteps began to approach the door, a certain nervousness appearing in Harry's chest, it had been so long since he had done something like this. What if he was rejected? What if things were not as he thought? But the door opened and his gaze met orbs as blue as the ice and deep as any ocean.

"H-Harry?" He asked in surprise as he watched from the doorway. "What are you doing?"

"I'm also glad to see you again, alpha." The curly one stood up and approached the alpha, who only looked at his actions with confusion. "Happy birthday." He said with a smile on his face, Louis only returned the smile without being able to take his gaze off from the omega.

Harry grabbed the tie from the alpha, who kicked the door closed, and guided him to the bed, sitting once more on the edge of it. Louis positioned himself over Harry without touching his body, still a bit confused by the situation.

"You know Lou," he began sweetly, "I've been thinking a lot about us... and about what you said to me that night." He brought his hands up to the alpha's shoulders and stroked him gently.

"What did you... what night?" He asked awkwardly, thanks to the different emotions he was starting to feel. Harry smiled widely and placed a soft kiss on his alpha's lips, and carefully took his hand and brought it up to his neck.

"Notice anything different?" The alpha's gaze lowered to the omega's neck where his hand remained, he slowly caressed the area realising that the necklace was not there, he looked into his eyes and separated to see his omega's hand, noticing that his ring was now on the right ring finger of his omega's hand.

"Are you... are you serious?" He asked with a huge smile on his face, Harry nodded feeling the same emotion as the alpha and they both wrapped themselves in a hug. "You don't know how happy that news makes me, I'm the luckiest alpha alive."
