Keeping me sane
Those deceitful smiles you show
When I see you bleeding and you say you made it without a scratch
Keeping me sane
The new skeletons ,you've hidden in your closet
The lies you tell when I know you are ill
Keeping me sane
When they envy you, thinking you are the happiest person on earth
The tears you shed and you won't let me wipe away
Keeping me sane
The excuses you make
The silence you give me when I need your voice
Keeping me sane
Knowing that we might never meet again and our goodbyes didn't remain
keeping me sane
The days I spent wondering about how you were ..
Keeping me sane
Saying you are flawless when I know your biggest flaw
Saying you are fearless when I know your biggest fear
Keeping me sane
That you keep doing all of that over and over again ,repeating all this endless pain..
NO wait....that was what makes me insane
Keeping me sane
While I'm sleeping you are still breathing out there...
Sometimes only knowing that they are alive is enough for us to make it through the day.
That's the thing :)
