I've always wondered about us

What are we friends or foes?

I don't hate you,I never did

But I remember it clearly on that year you did

It was a quite surprise for me.Why did you do that?

Did you think I wouldn't see it?or they wouldn't tell me?

You were smiling in my face and trying to stab me in the back

Ha! funny that I knew you well

I knew that smile, little talk that fade after a while

It was a spring day,butterflies were dancing on the flowers

I was looking at them, I was trying to avoid seeing that smile

I wanted to shake the idea of you lying but the truth is hard to shake

I remained silent then you said "We need to go back,so they won't notice"

I gave you my own smile but you didn't get it

You didn't see that I knew the lies

You couldn't understand that it's not how it works

Yes, we went back but you got my payback

Why were you shocked my dear? Did you think you can slay me like a lil deer?

Yes,I remained silent but you got what you deserved

Every word she said to you,you nailed it

Yes,I didn't save you that time 'cause you had to have it

Years after it and we are the same

We aren't friends,we aren't foes

Don't you think it's strange we know each other for 10yrs and we still feel strange towards each other?

Yesterday you asked me if I remember you...you said you missed me a lot,really?

To be honest with you I found it weird that it came from you

We talked for 10minutes but I remembered our 10years

You've never said sorry, like you did nothing

Why do I keep doing it? Forgiving you when you've never asked for forgiveness

What are we? Shouldn't we be like close friends by now?

I got your back many times, you did only few

We made new friends close ones

I tell them my secrets ,so you do

But why I can't tell you?and you can't tell me yours?

I don't know anymore what's this

Each time we come to be close,we end up being far

So let's just keep it like this,our frequent Chit Chat with  smiles.

Even time can't break some barriers.
