Heart of leaves

"She is heartless,she can't feel she is colder than the steel" 

 They said....

Honestly they weren't whispering and no they didn't care if someone could hear them

Shameless they were,far away from being harmless

I saw her,she was silent like a forest after the heavy rain

I didn't know her name,I decided to give her one from my own

I called her heart of leaves...it's perfect ? 

Heart of leaves my dear I saw you shedding your tears

Your lovely leaves fell one after other

No one cared,like it didn't even bother

On the branch you sat,your leaves were falling ,but you didn't react

Heart of leaves my dear, I can see your fear

Who scared you? how could they be so mean to you?!

I still remember your first fight,you were defending for what was right 

They blamed you for their mistakes,they were cowards

But my dear they caused  you so much pain 

No one could bear and no one could hear

Almost an invisible one

Your leaves fell cause of them...

It was heartbreaking like cutting a piece from your body and knowing it won't come back

Yet,there you were my darling ... smiling and saying new ones will grow later

I was stunned with your answer,maybe I didn't want to understand or didn't want to get to the real answer

After days,after nights I understood that you were right

Your new leaves were glowing,I saw your smile

It was like sunrise,it made everything come alive 

They are sorry now,too late..they should have known that you are better than who they are

You forgive and you care,they forget and want what's not theirs

Heart of leaves my dear ,can you stay with me here?

I don't want their metal heart neither their lion heart

I want heart of leaves cause it's stronger than any steel that could feel.     

If you forgive others and you care, even if it sometimes hurts you and causes you lots of pain.I can assure you that you have the strongest heart ever.Don't listen to others cause they don't understand that to forgive someone requires more courage than to forget them.
