"jealous" , rui kamishiro

Rui pouted at the sight of seeing (y/n) smiling and laughing with another person, who wasn't him.

"What's with the pouty face Rui?" Mizuki asks as they walk up to him, he turns his vision to Mizuki for a brief moment before glancing out the window to look back at (y/n).

His arm rested on the windowsill and he rested his cheek on his hand, "Ara ara, sad your prince(ss) is someone else's?" Mizuki teased.

"I don't care.. it's not like I have the right to be jealous." Rui mumbles before hiding his face in his arms. "Yes you do prince charming! You're their boyfriend, you wholeheartedly have a right to feel frustrated. It's a human emotion." they scold him back.

Rui furrows his eyebrows, watching that sweet smile on their lips curl. It would be reasonable to leave Rui, right? Since he's so weird and embarrassing, he thought to himself.

"Talk to (y/n) about it, they'll totally understand and give you reassurance that they're not trying to start something up," Mizuki says, "ok?". Rui nods in response then stares back at (y/n).

The way their arm was wrapped around (y/n)'s shoulders and they both were so close, it made him all annoyed. A lightbulb went off to make them communicate, Mizuki smirked as they watched his eyes furrow, they opened the window next to the one Rui was next to and yelled, "Neee! (y/n)-chaaaan!".

"Mizuki what are you.." he mumbles before he whines and slides under the window so (y/n) can't see him. "Yeah?" (y/n) shouts back.

Mizuki chuckles quietly before shouting, "Come up here! I needa tell you something really important!". (y/n) nods reluctantly and runs to the entrance to the second years' floor.

"Welp, see ya later Rui." Mizuki says. "What are you doing?!-" Rui shouts before sighing. "Helping you 'cuz I know you won't actually tell them your feelings." Mizuki smiles before running off.

"..Rui-kun?" (y/n) says, "Where's Mizuki-san?". "Um.. (y/n)," he mumbles before taking their hands in his and continues, "I really like you, and I don't understand feelings that well myself but.."

"This feeling I have makes me feel upset whenever you're with that guy, I feel.. jealous." Rui says, looking at them seriously. "It's not like I want you to stop hanging out with everyone, just.. let me know that you're not gonna stop liking me.."

(y/n) smiles purely at him before patting him on the shoulder, "There's never gonna be a day where I don't like you," they smile at him. "Sorry if I made you worry a lot."

Rui sighs before fluffing their hair and smiling, "You're.. the best person I've met in my life. More than anything I'd like to see you smile and hear that pretty laugh of yours."
