Chapter 11

Next morning everyone were in the room, Rey packed his stuff to leave,the d3 gang too were packing their things. Adi went to Reet's room, she gave him a box, he thanked her left to Taani's room, he dragged her to hall. "Adith kya hai aap mujhe sirf kheech ke leke jaate ho, baatao toh sahi kahan jaa rahe hai" said Taani, "bas ek sec Jaan" he made her seat, he kneeled in front of her keeping the box in her lap, "kya hai yeh" asked curiously, " the precious thing which belongs to you, open" looking at her, she opened it and gasped looked at him in shock, "yeh aap,.....kyu" not knowing how to react. "Kyu nahi, you have to move on Jaan, and that's only possible when you face it, and this" pointing at the box, "belongs to you" keeping the ghungroo in her hands taking the box away, "I have seen your dance video, I want to see it live, please mere liye" pleaded with her eyes, she can't ever deny him, he does everything to make her happy, even she have to do things which would bring smile on his face, if that meant facing her fears or insecurities then be it she's all ready. She nodded making him grinn she tied the ghungroo, he played the music, she started dancing freely breaking all  her insecurities. He stood at a distance watching her with a whole heartedly smile, finally she's letting go of all her insecurities, he was falling for her more and more.

Everyone heard the sound came to the hall stood outside, seeing the scene of Taani dancing, the family were happy and proud of her, the D3 gang looked with shock, their eyes popped out, she danced so gracefully they couldn't believe she could dance. Rishu whispered "wow bhabhi ek dum professional jaise dance kar rahi hai", "because she's a trained kathak dancer" said Reet proudly looking at her bestfriend finally letting go off her insecurities which she adapted after coming to mumbai making D3 more shock. Rey had many questions, 'why didn't she ever told him anything about her, her singing, her being dancer is all a shock to him, he felt did he ever knew about her?' he couldn't stand their closeness, he left from there, gang followed him.
Adi held her at the end, Arjun took everyone from there. They came to sitting room,got seated, "bhabhi toh Amitabh bacchan nikhli" Rishu said confusing everyone, "arrey matlab multi-talented, she dances so good, she sings, runs business, topper in studies, cooking bhi karti hai, woh badi maa kya kehti hai saar...."he tried to spell the last word, Reet continued "sarvagun sampanna" looking at him, he too looked at her smiled "exactly". The gang heard them, they were unable to digest that 'Taani can dance' and left the place, swayam messaged his mom that he's leaving with his friends.
Adi carried Taani, she hid her face in his chest, he caressed her back, breaking the hug, cupped her face kissing her eyes, "I'm proud of you baccha" making her look in his eyes, she could see love and pride in his eyes for her. She pecked his lips and said "I love you" without breaking the eye contact. He smiled whole heartedly, took her lips in a kiss, breaking the kiss he whispered on her lips, "I love you too Jaan". Adi's phone pinged, 'Rithvik message them to come for breakfast', he helped her to remove her ghungroo and came down. They had breakfast and left to their home.
It's been a month now, Taani got a call from VP Sir to come to college, Taani was supposed to submit the assignment, she could have mailed it but she can't deny VP Sir, only he supported her in the college. Adi had a tight schedule as Arjun was out of town. Rithvik accompanied Taani to college as he can't trust the gang. Taani entered the college, vikku went to park the car. Swayam and the gang except Rey saw them, Swayam moved to her, "Taani tum yahan", "guys look who's here Taani, tum yahan kya kar rahi ho tumhe college aane ki kya zarurat hai, your fiance is super rich you don't have to attend the college, baithe bitaye sab kuch mil jata hai tumhe" said simi spitting venom, "isliye toh she trapped him" said Vishakha. Taani looked at them, she glanced at Swayam like always he's standing quiet, she shaked her head, "trapping and all is not my thing, maybe tum log yahin sab karte hogi isliye tumhe zyada patha hai" scoffed, "Taani don't you think bahut attitude aagaya hai tum mein" sharon said irked with her new attitude. "Attitude hmm maybe aaya hai but unlike you all befizool ka ego toh nahi hai" Taani said mocking them, "what you mean" fuming Simi asked, "I meant kis cheez ka itna ego bhara pada hai tumlogo mein, what are you people" asked Taani, "don't forget we are dancers" said Neil smirking, "Haan toh dancers ho bhagwan nahi ho, tell me one thing janta kaun hai tumlogo outside the college, you people are just a mere dancers, a bunch of stupid dancers that's it" they were throwing draggers, "how dare you?" said Vishakha, "I dare to do lot of things which you people aren't capable of, dance ke alawa aata hi kya hai tumlogo ko,dusro ki khamiyon pe hasna, insult karna, khamiyan toh tumlogo mein bhar bhar ke pada hai, sabse badi khami hai bewakoofi or badtameezi" said Taani insulting them, "thank god Rey ne tumhe chodd diya" said Vicky trying to trigger her, but she chuckled, "you know even I thank Krishna ji everyday, ki main yahan se nikali tum logo ki shakal hi bardasht nahi ho rahi thi, and I can only wish Krishnaji mujhe inn beakal walon ki shakale dekhne naa mile" folding hands 'thanking Krishnaji', they were fuming with anger, before they could say anything, Rithvik came, "bhabhi all ok" asked her eyeing them, and passing a glare to them. "Yeah" she said smile at him, "Taani" came a voice, she turned to see other students standing there, "Taani we are really sorry, we always mocked you and laughed on you" said one of them, "I wouldn't say it's ok because it isn't ok to laugh on someone, to mock on someone's weakness when it's not actually a weakness but I'm glad that you guys accepted your mistake and are sorry for that" passing a small smile, they too nodded smile. Peon came to call the students, VP Sir called everyone in the auditorium. Everyone gathered,VP Sir was on dias, "good morning students I know you must be curious to know why I called everyone here, I have news, I'm delighted with the news. This year for the first time our student  represented our institute at the national level by her hardwork and dedication. We are proud of her success and now she got selected by the 'London University' to pursue her master's and that's none other than Taani Shekawat" there was loud clapping, the gang stood astonished, seeing her getting appreciation and seeing her getting opportunities their hatred grew more. Taani was herself surprised because she didn't apply, but she composed herself for now went on dias, V.P Sir congratulated her, "And students your final year exams will start after 15 days prepare well all the best" he said and left, Taani came down, Vikku hugged her, congratulated, other students were too congratulating, she thanked them politely but she was unsure who did apply without her knowledge, she got call from Arjun, "congratulations Tanu you're selected for 'London's University' so proud of you" grinning said, "bhaiya aap ko kaise pata" asked confused, "arrey Adi ne bataya usne toh apply kiya hai", Taani was shocked, she had no idea Adi did it, before she could say anything someone called Arjun so he ended the call, Taani was standing silent thinking what to do, vikku jerked her a lil, "bhabhi you're ok", "yeah vikku can you drop me at office I have to meet Adi" said composing, "sure chale" they left. Swayam who saw, he could come to the point that Taani is being sent without her will. The gang where least interested but were not liking that she would go to London for higher education, once they humiliated her for being aimless. They thanked their stars as Rey wasn't here, he went out to meet the organizers for an event they are going to perform next month, otherwise didn't know how would he react. Taani went straight to his cabin, knocked, Adi was checking his files hearing the knock said 'comein' looked up to find Taani standing with a serious face. He stood up moved to her, "what happened Jaan" asked being concerned held her arms, "did you apply for London University for my master's" asked with full seriousness, "yeah but what happened" he was confused, "aapne mujhe bataya kyu nahi, aapne janne ki koshish bhi nahi ki whether I want to go or no aur apply kar diya" said being annoyed, Adi withdraw his hands from her arms, the accusations her eyes held he couldn't take it, "I'm sorry for not asking and if you don't want to go then it's your wish I think you atleast know I won't force you" said being hurt, Taani too felt bad for she could say anything, "I have meetings lined up, aapko ghar jana chahiye" he said and left from there without looking at her, Taani had tears and she went to home. She got a call after reaching home from Sam, "congratulations Bunny now you'll live your dream" he said grinning, "tumhe kisne bataya", "ofcourse Aditya ne bola hai, you're damn lucky yaar, when I told him it was your dream to study in London toh he applied it and said he would give surprise to you, matlab tujhe surprise karne ke liye kya kya karte hai yaar" he said happily, Taani after hearing sat with a thud,tears rolled down, she fought with him,when all he did was for her dreams. "Kya hua why are you quiet" asked Sam, Taani explained what happened, "are you out of your mind Taani, kya sochke itna boldiya tune you know it exactly woh Banda tujhe khush karne ke liye kya kya nahi karta, maine tujhe pehle bhi bola tha don't mess your present because of your past insecurities" after listening to him, she started sobbing badly, he too felt bad for her, "accha listen stop crying now, ab rone se kuch faida nahi hai go and apologize to him", she hummed and cut the call.She was feeling extreme guilty for her behaviour and she could do anything to make it up. She called Avni and said her the whole thing, she too scolded her a lil then asked her to come home at night so he would not have any escape. Adi came home late night, he was exhausted with the continuous meetings and the fight with Taani kept his mood sour, he didn't had food the whole day.
He went straight to his room, open the door to find candles, the pleasent aroma of the room welcoming and a food kept on the table, some balloons with sorry written.He looked around to find Taani standing holding her ears, he smiled innerly but kept the poker face and asked, "aap itni raat ko yahan kya kar rahi hai" making her sad, he turned to change, "Aap ko itni raat ko yahan nahi aana chahiye tha" she couldn't take him turning his face from her, tears started flowing, she ran to him and back hugged him, he was taken with surprise by her hug, all his anger flew off before he could say anything he felt her tears wetting his back shirt. She was sobbing, "I'm sorry Adith I didn't mean to hurt you, I swear mera bilkul intention nahi tha aapko hurt karne ka I was scared I didn't wanted to go far from you and the family, I got love and care after a long time so I didn't wanted to stay alone again" hiccuping said, listening her words he felt a lil guilty to go extreme with her,he turned immediately taking her in a hug caressing her back, he walked to the sofa, sat taking her in his lap, he made her drink water, "feeling better" he asked softly still caressing her back, she nodded, "I'm sorry" said again tears rolled down, he huffed wiping her tears, "bas baccha enough, stop crying, yeh kya halat bana li hai apni" looking at her puffed eyes "aap mujhse naraz nahi hai naa ab", "nahi ho naraz baba but you have to promise me aage se if we fight I shouldn't see your this condition, I hate seeing your tears" wiping her tears, she nodded making him kiss her eyes gently, "I love you" she said looking at his concern, "I love you too Jaan" kissing her forehead. "Aapne khana nahi khaya subah se, chale let's have food" said Taani getting up from his lap, he too stood up and went to freshen up, came back, she was serving him food, he stood smiling watching the scene of her serving food, that's exactly a man dreams of, after coming home tried all he wants is to have his wife waiting for him, looking at her face all the triedness would flee away. He smiled widely imagining, she looked behind, "aap wahan khade khade smile kya kar rahe ho jaldi aao khana thanda ho raha hai"said bringing him out of his dream world. He shaking his head went and sat, took a bite forwarded to her, she looked at him,"I know aapne bhi nahi khaya so come on have it", she smiled at him, took a bite, sat beside him, pecked his cheek making him grinn, she too feeded him, like that they finished the food.
