GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO
Two teenage boys, Evan and Shawn approach an abandoned house and climb over the chain link fence, each handing the other a video camera to hold while climbing over.
"You got a full battery?" Evan Asks
Shawn nervously checks his camera "Yep."
"You ready?" Evan Says
"Yeah." Shawn Says
Using their flashlights and the video cameras, the two boys cross the large yard. Shawn holds camera up and is recording Evan.
"We are going to get so many hits!" Evan Says
Shawn continues to record Evan with the camera as they enter the house.
"I can't believe I'm doing this." Shawn Says
"What?" Evan Says
"Are you sure about this?" Shawn Asks
Their flashlights shines on the sign of the Dr. A Meadows Mental Health Center.
"Come on, man! It'll be awesome!" Evan Says
Their flashlights continue to shine on warning signs that read "Keep Out" and "No Trespassing". The boys enter the abandoned building and start to look around using flashlights.
"I told you it'd be unlocked." Evan Says
"Why would they leave it open?" Shawn Says
"Who's "they"? Come on, no one even pretends to own this place, not after..." Evan Says
"Whatever. Don't start." Shawn Says
"What, you don't want to hear about the guy who used to cut open people's skulls?" Evan Says, Shawn rolls his eyes at him.
"Sure. Of course he did, Evan." Shawn Says
"No, seriously. He got arrested." Evan Says
"So if he cuts your skull open, will you shut your stupid mouth?" Shawn Says
Evan scoffs and returns to exploring building, he ascends a large staircase.
"Why do we have to go up there?" Shawn Asks
"Uh-oh. Someone's scared." Evan Says
"I'm not scared. I just... Mike punked out. At least I showed up." Shawn Says
"Good. If you're so brave, let's look around.
Both boys continue to ascend the stairs. They find a ward full of neatly made hospital beds." Evan Says
"Where he kept his patients." The boys continue down a corridor until, he stops mid way. "Evan, I don't like this, man." Shawn Says
Evan turns to face Shawn with the camera "Quit your whining man."
The boys continue down the corridor and Evan stops in front of a room and turns to face Shawn.
"So... Yeah, I'm not going in there." Shawn Says
"Fine. Be a little baby." Evan Says
The room is an examination room and Evan turns to Shawn
"Come on, man." Shawn enters the room and they continue to explore "Told ya. This guy was freaky.
A flashlight shines across a series of masks with bird-like beaks." Evan Says
"Evan. Come check this out." Shawn Says, Evan walks over and begins to examine the masks.
"Holy crap." He picks one mask up "Put it in your bag." Evan Says
