21. loopy

A/N: In which Wednesday is in the hospital getting checked out and she's under anesthesia. Adorableness ensues xD

Enid's POV

When I got the call that Wednesday was in the hospital by her mom, a lot of thoughts ran through my head, and Mrs. Addams could tell I was about to freak the fuck out, so she quickly assured me that Wednesday got into a little bit of an accident and they just took her to the hospital. My heart was going a mile a minute... She told me that I could visit her in the hospital, but she was under anesthesia so she probably wouldn't know what was going on, but I didn't care, I just wanted to see her...

I managed to make my way to the hospital and I saw Wednesday's parents. My God, they were absolutely gorgeous... I can see where Wednesday got her beauty from... Mrs. Addams embraced me with a warm hug and of course, her father wouldn't stop doting over his wife. It was absolutely beautiful!

"Enid, was it? Our little storm cloud wouldn't stop talking about how you've helped her through the school year. We want to thank you for being there for her."

I smiled at Mrs. Addams and told her that I would do anything for Willa. Mr. Addams walked me over to the room Wednesday was in, and she was looking around the room, swatting at imaginary flies, so I guess she was under the affects of anesthesia. Her mother lightly tapped on the door and Wednesday gave her this goofy smile, oh god my heart...

"Mama, the flies won't leave me aloneee."

I couldn't take this adorableness and tried to hide myself behind Mrs. Addams for a bit, but Wednesday was making it hard with her responses.

"What flies, dear?"

"The fliessss, they keep buzzinggg. I think they want my juiceboxxx..."

I covered my mouth to hide my giggle.

"Wassat noise??"

Damn. Mrs. Addams moved aside and I waved awkwardly at a very loopy Wednesday as she gasped.

"Kittyyyyy! You caaaame! Mama, it's kittyy!"

God, she was so stinking cute... Mrs. Addams chuckled warmly at her daughter's silliness before replying back.

"Wednesday, my sweetie, your father and I need to speak with your doctor, so I'm leaving Enid here to talk with you, okay?"

Wednesday nodded, before turning to me and I blushed hard.

"Kitty, the flies won't stop bugging meee, what do they wantttt"

I giggled. I so badly wanted to run my hand through her hair, but I had to keep her company, not make out with her...

"They just like how pretty you are, Willa!"

Normally, Wednesday would threaten me if I called her that in a public setting, but she looked at me with her glassy eyes and giggled.

"You're so pretty, Eniddd, do you wanna be my girlfriendd?"

I giggled at her.

"Willa, we've been dating for weeks now, but yes, I'll be your girlfriend!"

"Yaaaayyyy..."

Wednesday suddenly closed her eyes, and I nearly freaked out until I heard her snoring very lightly and I teared up in a smile. I leaned in and lightly pecked her lips as her parents walked back in.

"Aww... did she just fall asleep?"

"Mm-hmm! She's so cute... how'd I get so lucky..."

Mrs. Addams walked over and lightly smoothed down my hair. I so badly wanted to be a part of their family... I wanted to be so far away from my mother and brothers that it hurt so bad... Wednesday was the only one that understood what I was going through and everyday I cried in my pillow because it was a never-ending hell for me... but she... she got me, you know? I know she's like, morbid and seemingly emotionless, but Goddamnit, I was head over heels in love with her, and in her own... quirky way, she was in love with me too. 

"I think she's the lucky one, lovely... she would deny this, but she's happy with you. She actually cracked a small smile when I told her you would visit her in the hospital. She loves you, Enid. And you have truly become a part of our family. She's told us about your family, and my heart breaks for you... if it helps, you can come back with us to our house after Wednesday is discharged here?"

I nearly squealed and woke Wednesday up, but I contained myself... but I hugged Mrs. Addams tightly.

"I'd love that, thank you, Mrs. Addams!"

She smiled at me and my heart swelled up...

"You can call me Morticia, dear. We know each other enough to dispense with the formalities, don't you think?"

I blushed and giggled.

"You have a lovely name, Morticia!"

Now, she blushed.

"Why, thank you, darling!" 

Please adopt me... please, please... Suddenly, Wednesday popped back up and scared us all.

"The balloons are floating away, mama!"

I couldn't help but giggle... Fuck, she was driving me crazy with her cute ass rambles!

"Go back to sleep, sweetie, you're dreaming. The balloons aren't going anywhere."

"Are you sure..."

Morticia smiled at her as she ran her hands through a very, very sleepy Willa's hair.

"I promise, Wednesday. Sleep, my love. We'll be home soon."

As Wednesday laid back down to go back to sleep, I ran over and kissed her lightly, feeling Morticia and Mr. Addams smile behind me.

"I hope you recover and have sweet dreams, my love... I love you so much, okay..?"

Wednesday then opened her eyes and stared at me, scaring me before she kissed me back, smiled and said:

"I love you too, kitty, good niiiiight..."

A/N: Okay, I know I Said I Would be taking a break from doing this, but I'm obsessed and I don't want to rush my novel, so this might get updated every now and then while I work on some ideas with my novel. Also, I had to get this one done because honestly, how cute is loopy Wednesday???!!!
