Y/n's pov:

It's been a few days since I helped Hagrid with his first lesson, we were led to a fenced-in area at the edge of the forbidden forest and we see Hagrid go get the creature which turns out to be a hippogriff named buckbeak.

After Hagrid explains the facts and history of hippogriffs he asks for a volunteer to meet buckbeak and Harry goes first gaining the creatures trust after a few minutes. Lily goes next and gets his trust in a few seconds, following the twins I watch as some of the class earn the chance to pet buckbeak in a few seconds or minutes while some don't earn it. All that is left is me and Malfoy's turn, which it is my turn now.

Hermione's pov:

We watch as y/n approaches buckbeak and he takes his lightsaber off his hip setting it on the ground near the fence before approaching more towards buckbeak as if he is showing that he means him no harm. As y/n gets close to buckbeak, he does deep bow and we watch with batted breathes for buckbeak's reaction. Buckbeak lunges at y/n with his talons which y/n rolls out of the way and watches Buckbeak like how a two rival predators watch the each other when battling for territory. As buckbeak charged again and swiped with his talons y/n rolled out of the way then got kicked in the gut with buckbeak's hind legs causing him to hit the fence wheezing a little bit. Y/n bows for a final time and buckbeak finally calms down and let's y/n pet him.

Y/n: you are really strong buckbeak. I wasn't going to hurt you.

After y/n gets back in the crowd we watch malfoy being malfoy and he gets a little nic on the arm.

Y/n's pov:

After dinner, me and the girls went to my common room and I went to the training room and started working on my hand to hand combat on a metal wood dummy training device.

After working on it for a few minutes, I had some magna guards stand in a circle of six around me as I got my combi spear out and extended it to work on my skills more.

Hermione's pov:

As we watched y/n train, we were amazed at his skills with close quarters combat and defense against spells sent by training dummies.

As he finished training, I noticed that
he was breathing a little heavy and a bit  of sweat covered his exposed skin making my heart flutter and heat rise in my cheeks and I see lily has a knowing smirk on her face which makes it worse. So I approach y/n with a horn of water that is sitting on a stand in the room.

Rosemary: woah, that was so cool!!

Y/n: thanks little rose. Oh th...thanks mione.

Hermione: y...your welcome y/n.

After he got a drink, he puts it back and leads us to the meditation room in his common. We look around confused before he sits on the floor and we follow his lead.

Lily: why are we in here?

Y/n: I've noticed that you two have been looking stressed from the number of classes that you are taking, so if you were to meditate for a bit then it help ease your stress.

Rosemary: do I have meda...medi....

Lily: are you trying to say meditate rosey?

Rosemary: yeah that word. Do I have to do it when I don't have to go to classes?

Y/n: no but it will help you learn to take your time to appreciate the world around you and it help you make fond memories of places.

Rosemary: ok dokie I'll try it.

After y/n helps us sit in a position that we'll find comfortable, we start meditating and I feel the stress from all of my classes ease away causing to feel relaxed.

Lily: come on rose let's give them some alone time.

Rosemary: ok lil.

We watch them leave the room and realize that its just us now.

Y/n's pov:

As we stand in the meditation room I take the moment to relax and get some confidence.

Y/n: Hermione?

Hermione: yes y/n?

Y/n: would you go to hogsmeade village with me? Just us two and would you like to see a place that can only be reached by my army's ships?

Hermione: yes I would love to y/n. So is it going to be like a date?

Y/n: i...if you want it to be one then it can be.
