Previously: Adam Vann Avalon came running up the stairs only to see Vladimir looming over Rose with his fangs out and them dripping wet with blood. He sprung to action and flew towards him with the intent to kill. Rose heard Kurtz and Blitzkrieg shouted out to him to stop. He was just about to attack Vlad with his flaming feathers. But just as they made eye contact with each. They both passed out and woke up in a joint mind palace, which looked like a very peaceful magical forest.

Rose went to reach for her weapons but they weren't in sight. She couldn't use her magic either. Adam frozen up at the feeling of his goddess landed on his shoulder in a crouching position. "There's no reason to fight each other. You both are my children and champions." He looked at Rose surprised. "She's got your blessing?" Then suddenly a red, ocean blue, dark purple and black ball of light appeared all around her upper body. She held out her hand and smiled,"I'm sorry but it seems like you have misunderstood the situation. Vladimir isn't a threat to you or me. He's by boyfriend." "Boyfriend? What's that?" She sighed softly. "Fiance." "Huh!?" "That's not important right now. Here take my hand I'll show you everything I know." He reached out his hand slowly. "We are going to save the world." His eyes shot open back in the real world. She rubbed her head and got up from the ground. Adam stayed silent as he stared at the ground trying to process what he just witnessed.

Rose held out her right hand with her right eye closed. "Let's move past what happened back then and move forward with our heads held high, okay?" He grabbed her hand and on his way up he made eye contact with Vladimir. He looked away for a few seconds before saying,"How could you kill all of our friends!?" Vlad didn't say anything and just looked at him blankly. "Lana didn't deserve your love!" He was then punched in the gut by Rose. He went flying into the already crumbling stone wall. A spider web effect was left behind as he landed roughly on his side. "This entire world is the one at fault. Champions and Condemned aren't classified as both good or bad. That's not how this works. He killed them because of me! He was protecting me from being killed. If you have a problem with him then you'll have to fight me too." She looked up at Vlad. "I love you no matter if you are a monster or not. Lana didn't understand what true love was if she rejected this version of you. You were rightfully mad of being left behind and betrayed. She could have easily talked to you but she didn't." She sat down and said in a commanding tone of voice,"I'll come up with a game plan tomorrow. Get some rest everyone!" She gestured for Vlad to get closer. He picked up by his vines and pulled her into a warm embrace from behind. He sat her down on his lap. "I love you too, Rose." He nuzzled his beard up against her face. Adam saw this crazy shocking sight and wiped the blood from his nose. "Artemis, what's this kid's deal? Who is she?" "That's the Rose kingdom's first princess, surprisingly enough. She probably will explain everything to you if you try to behave. She cares about that Condemned. So be careful when it comes to interacting with him." "The fragile and useless princess is this girl? That's just unfathomable to process. I wonder what happened for her change so drastically?"

Rose woke up in the middle of the night and flew through the cracked ceiling. She sat down on the ledge to admire the moon and the stars. She heard a voice echo throughout her mind from the past. "Isn't the sky pretty uncle?" She turned her head only to see her old self sitting next to her uncle Jack Gibson. He chuckled softly as he patted her head. "It's like many shining diamonds, I'll never get used to this sight. Heh, it's downright breathtaking. Take it in, my dear niece, you won't be able to see it very clearly in the city sky at night." Rose started to cry as she looked up at the sky with her two eyes. She remembered another distant memory. "Uncle, where's mom and dad?" "Look up there, the sky is filled with stars but they aren't just suns to other systems. Each sun represents the souls of the fallen soldiers who have died in this world. The ones with the highest honour of protecting others, they get a place to rest in the sky forever. So they will never be forgotten and light the way for those who are lost. Your parents are up there shining brightly down on you. Their souls are watching over you and your galant path as a soldier. Whenever you get lost or are scared, just look up at the night sky and remember that you aren't alone. When I die, I'll be there too. Watching over you and making sure you are alright." He pulled her close and gripped onto her shoulder. "I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of person you become in the future. My dear niece, Lexi." Rose gripped onto the ledge tightly as tears streamed down her face. "Uncle Jack, I miss you so much." "Who's this uncle Jack?" She looked over to see Vlad standing on the ledge to her left. His long wavy and messy raven black hair was majestically flowing in the breeze. His vampire eyes pierced her heart like daggers. He sat down and hung his legs over the edge casually. He nudged her shoulder gently,"I'm all ears to listen." She leaned in close and rested her head on his arm and she continued to cry. "Just look through my mind, he was a great man." He closed his eyes and they shared a mind palace. He peeked inside her memories and saw what she was talking about. He interlocked his right hand with her left hand with a gentle look in his usually fierce looking eyes. Something was different about him, his intense glare of hatred for the world was no longer there. "He seems like a great man, I hope I can live up to his standards one day." She smiled brightly at his honesty.
