At Vale, the city is preparing for the Annual Vytal Festival
Team BAIIR and Team RWBY are visiting the city
"The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!" Weiss said
"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss." Ruby said, "It's kinda weirding me out..." she said
"How could you 'not' smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world!" Weiss said, "There will be dances, parades, a tournament!" she said, "Oh the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking." she said
"You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring." Rokuro said
"Quiet you." Weiss said as they arrive at the docks
"Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?" Yang said
"Ugh, they smell like fish." Bell said
"I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today." Weiss said, "And as a representative of Beacon I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom." she said
"She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament." Izuku said
"Ah! You can't prove that!" Weiss said
"Woah." Ruby said as she spots a crime scene so they went to check it out
"What happened here?" Aichi asked
"Robbery. The second Dust shop is to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle." Detective 1 said
"That's terrible." Yang said
"They left all the money again." Detective 2 said
"Huh?" Ruby said
"Yeah, just doesn't make a lick o' sense. Who needs that much Dust?" Detective 1 asked
"I dunno, ya know what I mean?" Detective 2 asked
"You thinking the uh, White Fang?" Detective 1 asked
"Ya, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough." Detective 2 said
"Hmph. The White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates." Weiss said
"What's your problem?" Blake asked
"My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane." Weiss said
"The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths. They're a collection of misguided Faunus." Blake said
"Misguided?! They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet!" Weiss said
"So then they're 'very' misguided." Blake said, "Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale." she said
"Hmm. Blake's got a point." Ruby said, "Besides, the police never caught that Torchwick guy I ran into a few months ago..." she said, "Maybe it was him." she said
