Arrived at Menagerie, the ship lowers the ramp to allow Izuku, Blake, Sun, and the passengers to disembark to Menagerie. The town has many small buildings and homes set among dunes and palm trees.
Izuku, Sun, and Blake make their way from the deck to the offramp. Izuku and Blake proceed without pause while Sun stops to look at the town.
"Huh." Sun said as he looks around while he, Izuku, and Blake disembark and walk through the market area together.
"I've never seen so many Faunus in one place!" Sun said
"This is the one place everyone can feel safe, no matter who or what they are." Blake said
"Wow, sure is, uh, crowded, huh?" Sun said
"Yes. Yes, it is." Blake said
"Is it always so... cramped?" Sun asked dodging a Faunus carrying a box
"Well, when you try and take an entire species and put them on an island that's two-thirds desert, yeah, it tends to be cramped." Blake said
"What!" Sun said, "You guys have that much more space? Why waste it?" he asked, "A little desert never hurt anyone!" he said
"It's not like the desert in Vacuo, Sun." Blake said, "The wildlife here is more dangerous than most other regions." she said
"So, they give us a terrible island, in the corner of Remnant, to try and shut us up." Sun sad
"That's a pretty good summary, yeah." Blakes said
"Huh. Jerks." Sun said
"But it looks like you guys try to make the best of things." Izuku said as the three paused in their walk to look at the view of the town the road affords.
"Whoa..." Sun said
"This, is Kuo Kuana." Blake said
"It's... beautiful." Izuku said
"I take it all back. This place looks great!" Sun said, "Why would anyone ever want to leave?" he asked
"That's not the point, Sun!" Blake said, "We asked to be equal, to be treated just like everyone else!" she said, "Instead, we were given an island and told to make do." she said "So we did the best we could. We came together and we made a home where any Faunus could feel welcome." she said, "But this island, this town, will always be a reminder that we're still not equal." she said lowering her face "That we're still second-class citizens." she said
"Well, hey, this guy's feeling pretty at home." Sun said putting his hand on her shoulder
"Alright, time to go home." Blake said
"So, which one's yours?" Izuku asked
"Can we see it from here?" Sun asked
"Kind of." Blake said
"Is it that one?" Sun asked, "What about that tiny one down there?" he asked, "I like the paint job." he asked
"Is it that large one?" Izuku asked pointing at the large house
