Weiss walked down a long, carpeted hallway of blue, white, and gray. she walked along an upper-level balcony above a large dining hall. she walks down a wide stairway with curving balconies on either side above it. Walking into another room she strides past a life-size statue of King Taijitu without looking up. then she walks alone in the hallway, never having looked up the entire time until she has a startling reaction to hearing her brother's voice coming from right in front of her.
"Good afternoon, sister." Whitley Schnee said, "A pleasure to see you out of your room for a change." he said
Weiss sidesteps him and turns to speak, and since he moves to face her the effect is that of the two of them briefly circling each other.
"Hello, Whitley." Weiss said, "You're in a cheery mood today." she said
"Klein made crepes for breakfast." Whitley said as He clasps his hands behind his back and smirks at her.
"What do you want?" Weiss asked
"I heard Father shouting with someone in his study earlier." Whitley said
"Mother?" Weiss asked
"No, she's already drinking in the garden." Whitley said, "I think it was a man." he said
Weiss looks up at him on this.
"I just wanted to warn you." Whitley said with a feigning concerned look "I heard he had asked to speak with you." he said
"I'll be fine." Weiss said
"I know you will. You are strong, like Winter." Whitley said
"You never liked Winter." Weiss said
"True, but you can't deny her resolve." Whitley said
"You... seem different." Weiss said
"And you've been gone." Whitley said, "I'll have you know I didn't stop growing while you were away at Beacon." he said then he turns and walks away. "Anyway, good luck with Father!" he said
"Thank you." Weiss said she continues walking
Meanwhile
Izuku's group walks down the sunny road. Ruby is in middle, looking at a map.
"So, the next town is... uh-huh... uh-huh... We're lost." Ruby said
"We're not lost." Jaune said, "The next town is Shion. My family used to visit it all the time." he said
"Oh yeah. Don't you have, like, four sisters?" Bell asked
"Uh, seven." Jaune said
"You know, that explains a lot." Nora said
"Wait, what do you mean?" Jaune said
"So, what did you guys do there?" Ruby said
"Oh, all sorts of stuff!" Jaune said, "Over here is a great hiking trail, and over here is where we went camping all the time." he said, "I got my own tent because I was special. Also, so my sisters would stop braiding my hair." he said
