Now, there are new things I had to do again.

"Thank you, Ms. Delo Santos."

"Hindi naman po, I set a schedule every week so that wouldn't happen." Tumango siya at nginitian ako.

"Apart from this organization, did you think of any other cause you wanted to fight for?"

"If I didn't pursue a farmer-focused organization, I might have joined an environment-focused naman po."

"Oh, very green, ha!" natawa ako at napatango. "I remember, sa resume mo, sabi ro'n, you were a STEM student. Why did you choose your program now?

I wasn't comfortable sharing my family's state with an org mate because we weren't in the circle of intimacy that was required for that.

Besides, not everyone needs to know my story.

After a few minutes of chatting with Ms. Deloso, nakuha ko na ang mga papers at umalis na. River was waiting for me, he brought me here and he'll bring me back to Manila again. I insisted that I'd just take a Grab because he had training after this. It wouldn't be good if he was already tired prior to training.

"Are you hungry? You want to buy food before I take you home?" tanong ni River nang sinusuot ko ang seatbelt ko. "Okay. Do you think we'll see any Wendy's on the way?"

"I'll check," he opened his phone to look at the map. "Yeah, there is. What do you want there?"

"The burger with the mushroom, nuggets, fries, iced tea, and their ice cream." River nodded. "I'll pay na, ha." I took out my wallet from my tote bag.

"Anghel, ako na." Lumiko ang kotse. "I have money, may ipon ako. Ayaw kong ubusin mo 'yong money mo for me."

Pagdating namin sa drive-thru, he said our orders on the intercom and paid.

It was already the third week of June right now, and I was going to get interviewed for work tomorrow, on Friday afternoon. My Mom's birthday is coming up, it'll be on Sunday. I don't know how I'll greet her.

Nakabili na ako ng regalo para kay Mommy, it was one of the books of her favorite author. It was a special edition, so I'm sure she'll like it. I also bought her new shoes, she may not be big on fashion every time she goes out, but she still manages to look decent or presentable. Maybe even too formal. Even if she goes to the market alone, she looks like a very strict professor.

I cleaned my unit today and exercised. Then, I read my readings for next week. I thought it'd take only 10 minutes or 20. I was a little irked because I had to adjust my prepared schedule.
