Oh dear father, in my heart you reside
Though we're apart, your love forever guides
In the starlit sky
I know you're near
Watching over me
Wiping away my tear
As I walk my way
Your light shows the day
In every beat of my heart
Your presence is my part
In the gentle breeze
I hear your voice
Whispering words of love
Making me rejoice
Though you're in heaven
Your presence I sense In every moment
Your love immense
So, dear Father,
I believe that even though I can't see you
You're always at my side
Watching over me
Somewhere in heaven
You're smiling down at me
So happy and so proud of me
