Prayer For Release

Life has been a stormy sea
Dark clouds came into view, obscuring me
Wish the skies were clear and blue
But the sky was in chaos
A violent windy storm, a tempest true

Despite the hardships I face
I trust in God to guide my way
Though He may seem distant now
His love endures, forever true

Love's bright flame fades
And pain grows strong, and will last

With a heavy heart and a weary mind
I pray for release, a swift departure
For this world is a prison, a cage of sorrow
And I cannot bear to live in it any longer

When will the clock strike my final hour?
When will the great God take me in His embrace?
I beg for release from this suffocating existence
For forgiveness of my sins and a peaceful end

Oh Lord, hear my prayer
Take me from this miserable world
Let me vanish into thin air
And leave behind the pain and the hurt

Let my soul find rest
Let it flies free
For I cannot bear the weight of this world
And I beg for a merciful release
