A Love Letter

My dear and precious love
My heart aches for your presence
To feel the warmth of your embrace
And stare upon your emerald eyes

Echoes of you stays
A melody sweet in my heart
A desire to embrace you anew
Whispers of love and devotion are true

Your absence is a heavyweight
A constant yearning in my soul
But in my heart, you remain forever
My dearest, most beloved

My darling, my heart's treasure
Once we were blessed with love's pleasure
Our days were filled with joy and grace
But now, a painful void takes its place
I contemplate in silence, with hope in my heart
Will our paths once more, together start?
Will I see your sweet visage once more
And feel your love forevermore?

I'm an old man now
I don't have much time left, you know
All I want before I fly away
All I want is to see your pretty face and your gorgeous smile
To hear your voice and to hug you tight
I wrote this love letter to you
To tell you how much I love you
You can't imagine how much I do
