You were my star, shining bright
Guiding me through the darkest night
A source of strength, an accurate guide
But now I've lost my way
No longer do I see the light
I wander aimless, lost in sight
The path I once knew has vanished, unclear
And I find myself without your guidance, I fear
But still, I hold onto hope, for memories past
Of your guidance, a hold that will last
And I know, that someday, I'll find my way
With your guidance, leading me, every step of the way
