"Mom, can we get some dauntless cake?" our son, Alistair, asks
"Tobias?" I say to my husband who sits on the sofa smirking "did you put him up to this?"
"I have no idea what you are taking about honey" he tries not to laugh
"Dani!" I shout for our daughter to come in. She runs in from her room with Charlie, will and Christina's daughter, Jason, Zeke and shaunna's son and Oli, Uriah and Marlene's son. "Explain your dad and al's situation please"
She smiles an adorably 6 year olds smile
"Dad wants dauntless cake and he told Alastair he could have some if Al asked you for cake for dinner" Tobias and Alastair look defeated
"Spy" alistair says with a cough, for a 8 year old he sure is sassy, he spends to much time with Uriah.
"Thank you dani, now go back and play with your friends" I turn to Tobias "we need to get ready, hector will be over soon to baby sit" Rachel and killian are getting married today, I new they would stay together, just like emy and Finn who are engaged. Tess left to become factionless , she was never the same when Alastair left. Tommy is working in the tattoo parlour with me and tori, he's pretty good at it, and Harry is a doctor in the infirmary *cough* erudite.
God life is good. I have my family, Tobias and our children: Alastair and Dani. And out friends that have become a family. It's time like this when I think
I'm so glad to be wearing black clothes instead of grey.
