GOJO POV

I strolled throughout Tokyo as I finally calmed down from the fight I just went through.

The city air was comforting in a way. Filled with sweet sweet pollution and greenhouse gasses, just great.

The negative energy was flowing through this place like a water current, especially from those who are on their way to work so early in the morning.

My stomach growled as a delightful smell wafted into my nose. To my right was a busy-looking cafe. Just what I needed after a long day of work! (It took 5 minutes but still)

Walking inside, I immediately felt comfortable. The tenseness was relieved from my shoulders at the smell of lavender that seemed to be housed inside this small shop. It was...homey. The lights were dim and yellow, contrasting  against the orange wood that adorned the cleanly swept floors. String lights  were strung across the entire place, and light filtered through the windows almost perfectly. It's like this place was meant to be here.

It was almost hard to believe that I'd never been to a place so beautiful before. Was this place new? How long has this been open? There's no way I could have easily missed such a gem-

Coming back out of my thoughts, I realized that I was finally next in line. And as I stepped up to the counter I was met face-to-face with an angel.

Her brown skin glowed against the soft sun rays that filtered through the curtains. Her curls were slightly tucked into a ponytail that looked as if it would burst open any moment. Her face- gosh her face.

Flour was scattered across her cheeks in a messy manner that showed that she just came out of the kitchen. E/c eyes stared back at my own just as mine stared into hers.

God, this woman was beautiful.

I don't know what I could've done in my past life to grow so lucky as to face such a goddess as herself, but I won't complain. As I study her face more, I notice her do the same.

Is she possibly as entranced as I am? Do I look appealing enough to her? It's hard to believe.

All my self-confidence has just flown out the window. Does my hair look alright? What about my outfit? I only threw something on because I was too lazy to find something nice to wear. She probably thinks I'm some sort of slob-

"Good Morning! Welcome to Y/n's cafe, What can I get you today?"

"Oh? Uh, Uhm" I stuttered out a failed attempt at order as a beautiful song rang in my ears.

Could she get any more perfect? Her laugh sounded as if it came from the heavens itself, her smile reached up to her eyes as she lightly chuckled off the laughter that burst throughout the cafe.

I cleared my throat and talked much slower this time. Who would've thought that I- Gojo Satoru- would stutter so much and embarrass myself so badly? In front of a cute girl at that! I need to talk to Nanami after this.

After she took my order I walked over to a small table in front of a floor-to-ceiling window. I took out my phone and frantically texted Nanami in hopes of some advice.

Gojo

-Nanami! There's this cute girl in the cafe an-

Nanami

-Shush Gojo and get back to the school, don't you have a meeting to go to?

Gojo

-Yes but you don't understand sh-

Nanami

-Goodbye, Gojo

Gojo

-NOOOOO COME BACK~

I frown slightly at the message. How dare Nanami leave me on read- especially in such a dire emergency! I'll just go over to his house later I guess.

"Order for Gojo?"

I peeked up at the familiar melody that encircled my ears. Putting my phone back into my pocket I tried to play it off as smoothly as possible.

"Oh! Thank you uhm..." I leaned forward in an attempt to read the small words that met the nametag on her chest.

Y/n...beautiful.

"Y/n, thank you Y/n" I smiled as best I could, a blush slowly making its way back up to my face. I rushed out of the cafe, smiling one more time at Y/n before teleporting up to the roof.

'That was embarrassing' I thought while looking inside the bag of goodies. I opened one of my strawberry mochis, too impatient to wait. And thank God I didn't.

The mochi melted in my mouth seamlessly and I almost audibly groaned at the taste.

The meeting with the higher-ups was as boring as always. I'll kill them one day but for now, only time will tell.

I stretched my arms wide as I looked up at the moon. I guess it's time to check up on Megumi!

Teleporting over to the high school I was met with not one, but 2 boys. The other kid had salmon-pink hair and an undercut. He looked about the same age as Megumi, but his aura was slightly sinister.

Turns out the cursed object I tasked Megumi to collect was consumed by this kid, and now he was the vessel for The King of Curses, Sukuna.

Boy did he have a hectic life ahead of him, and I couldn't help but feel a little bad for him.

Megumi and the boy who called himself Yuji lightly argued back and forth while I bordley looked around the perimeter.

Glancing down to the entrance of the high school, I spotted a familiar person standing at the gate which made me freeze.

She wasn't able to see me, but it felt as if she was staring directly into my soul. I watched as her neutral expression slowly turned into a frown as she shivered. Did she feel the energy too? I didn't even bother to pay attention to see if Y/n held any cursed energy.

I watched as she slowly started back her trek all the way down the road, a little more urgent this time, until she walked into an old-looking apartment building. I ignored the questions flowing out of Megumi's mouth as I stared down at the now, empty road.

I need to go back to that cafe.
