Chapter 55: Another Dimension

Everyone looked up to see that it was Magolor who was laughing as he clapped his hands.

"Bravo Kirby and Team RWBY. You've truly earned your reputations as brave heroes."

"How-how do you know that?" Ruby asked, growing suspicious.

Magolor ignored her question as he approached Landia's crown.

"Your help defeating Landia was invaluable."

Magolor then grabbed the crown.

"Ah...at long last, it's mine!" Magolor yelled in a tone no one expected from him.

"What is that?" Yang asked, glaring at the alien before the crown floated to the top of his head.

"The source of limitless power...the Master Crown!" Magolor excitedly answered her.

Energy then began to surge into Magolor. Suddenly, he transformed. He now had a gaseous, blood-red colored body with a blue aura emanating from it. His floating hands were now separated by a pair of magical sun-shaped runes. Magolor's hood grew outward and furled into what resembles a jester's hat, obtaining a purple hue with horns with white at the tips. His scarf remained white, but it was larger and is cinched together by a purple, silver-buckled belt, giving the appearance of a veil. The Master Crown sat atop his head, its claws noticeably clasping down on it. Everybody was stunned at how evil he now looked as he glared at the heroes.

"Obtaining this crown has been my ultimate goal all along!" Magolor announced his deceit.

Everyone stared at him in shocked disbelief, unable to fathom the friendly little alien truly being a power hungry liar, especially with how terrifying he looked in comparison to his normal form.

"What's with the weird looks? Fine, let me explain everything. I fought Landia by myself and lost. So I tried to flee the planet, but he made me crash land before I could. About ten minutes later, I saw you all suddenly drop from the sky. You were all unconscious, but alive. I recognized you all as Kirby, the hero who had stopped countless Nightmare Enterprises monsters, and Team RWBY, the ones fighting Salem and her forces. Knowing your strength, the thought struck me...I could have you defeat Landia for me!"

"So this whole time, you were only using us?!" Blake asked angrily.

"A stroke of genius, I know," Magolor boasted about his manipulation, making everyone even angrier. "You even helped me repair my Starcutter by getting the parts back from that idiot headmaster.  I really did appreciate that by the way."

"Did you manipulate him too?" Weiss spat.

"No, one look at him and I knew he was too simple-minded to agree to my help. Even if Landia would've attacked him had he tried to leave the planet, he still wouldn't have listened to my warning. So I did need you to destroy him to get the parts back. But really you should be thanking me for that after the damage the fool did to his kingdom," Magolor smugly explained.

He then started to create something above him.

"Anyways," he said before evilly laughing. "The time has come for your planet...no! The time has come for the ENTIRE UNIVERSE to bow down to me."

The creation turned out to be a star shaped portal to Remnant.

"And for being such a big help in all of this, Remnant gets to go first! Prepare to bow, Remnant! Welcome your new overlord!" Magolor announced as he flew through the portal.

The group looked in disbelief that they had helped a dangerous creature gain great power that he would use to conquer their very home.

"What have we done?" Ruby whispered as she started to cry in despair. Kirby rushed over to comfort his aunt. As he was doing so however, he failed to notice the Landia leader walking up behind him. The Landia dragon then grabbed Kirby's head with his mouth and threw him upwards.
