Chapter 3: Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose was in the hovercraft that would take her to Beacon. She was excited until..."Oh I can't belive my baby sister is going to Beacon with me! This is the best day ever!" Yang Xiao Long said while almost hugging her sister to death.

"Please stop..." Ruby moaned.

"I am so proud of you!" Yang exclaimed.

"Errr...thanks Yang," Ruby said. She then noticed her older sister had a brown backpack on her back. "Hey Yang, what's with the backpack? You're the only person wearing one."

"Uhhh.....don't worry about it. I'm just using it for....." But Yang was interrupted by a cute baby laugh coming from her backpack.

"What do you have in there?" asked Ruby.

"Follow me," Yang ordered. They both went to a part of the hovercraft where no one else was around.

"I'll show you what I've got, but you can't tell anyone." Ruby promised to keep it a secret. Yang opened up the backpack and took out a very small and very pink puffball. Yang smiled and said, "Ruby, meet your new nephew."

Kirby looked up at Ruby and waved to her, "Hi!"

Ruby replied with a small wave, "Hi? Yang, what is that thing?"

"He's not a thing, he's a cute little baby! I adopted him last night. After I left the nightclub, I found him by the dumpster. I couldn't leave him there, so I took him in. If I find whoever left him there, I'll kill them. And I'm not joking. Anyways, this little cuttie's part of our family now!" Yang explained.

"Poyo!" Kirby said cutely.

"Aww!!" said Ruby.

"I know right! He's so cute and adorable!" Yang said while hugging Kirby.

"My name's Ruby," Ruby told Kirby.

"Name Ru-bie. Name Ruby!" Kirby said happily.

"You are so cute," Ruby told Kirby. At that moment, the sound of someone throwing up could be heard. "That though, is not cute," Ruby said disgusted.
