Morpho Knight then exploded. When the smoke cleared, there were three spirits watching the heroes. Meta Knight then awoke to see his dear friend, Galacta Knight, smiling back at him.

"Galacta Knight..." Meta Knight muttered.

"I am glad to see you are doing well, my old friend," Galacta Knight continued to warmly smile.

"I'm sorry...I failed you in the past..."

"No. That was an accident waiting to happen. What happened to me was never your fault. Besides, how could I blame you when you finally helped put my soul to rest?"

"May you enjoy the afterlife," Meta Knight bid farewell as his friend's spirit began to rise.

"I am very proud to have been your friend," Galacta Knight said goodbye before he then disappeared into the clouds.

The other two spirits were Ozma and Salem.

"It's been...so long since I've truly felt good..." Salem gently smiled, no longer under the influence of the pools of Grimm.

"Our war is finally over. Now we may return to the afterlife...together," Ozma smiled at Salem as well before they both followed Galacta Knight.

As their spirits left, Kirby, Team RWBY, and Oscar got a brief glimpse of Jaune and Pyrrha hugging each other, which they all smiled at while tears ran down their faces. Back in Vale, Ren and Nora saw this as well. While they were heartbroken to loose their leader and good friend, they were happy to see he would now be with Pyrrha again, this time forever. Just then, the gods of Remnant returned in front of Team RWBY.

"I see that Ozma was successful in his task. Even if it took many years, I had hope that our creation would prove to be a success," the god of light softly said.

"Well it's not like you made it easy," Yang remarked.

"I do apologize, but--"

"No! You listen! By giving Salem immortality, she was desperate to do whatever she could to die! Your punishment caused the suffering of countless people for countless years! And now you just waltz back and act like we can forgive you for that?!" Yang yelled at the god of light.

"Poyo!" Kirby agreed. "You tell him, Mommy!" Kirby thought.

"You dare speak that way to your creators?" the god of darkness demanded.

However, the god of light put his hand up to silence his brother.

"This human is correct. We have behaved inexcusably as well. Though we attempted to test humanity's resolve and willingness to become the best versions of themselves by working together, we were foolish to believe that granting Salem immortality would do anything but make her worse.....You have met your end of the bargain for when the Relics are collected. We shall continue to protect your planet for the rest of eternity, however, if you so desire, we will not continue to disrupt your lives."

Everyone looked at each other. Ruby then looked at Oscar.

"What do you think?" she asked him.

"I think you have a good idea," Oscar smiled.

"Poyo!" Kirby nodded, trusting his aunt's decision.

Ruby smiled back at her nephew before drawing in a breath of air.

"You can continue to protect this planet and give us magic, but we think it's fair if you don't remain in contact with us outside of those two reasons," Ruby requested.

"Very well," the god of light nodded before he and his brother flew up to the moon.

The moon was made whole again to represent humanity being made whole again as they all gain magic as the first humans had. In addition, all the Grimm in Vale and at Beacon were destroyed. There were still Grimm in the world, but they would eventually go extinct, as no more were able to spawn. As the heroes returned to Vale, Ruby announced that Salem was gone forever and explained what else had happened. In response, everyone began to cheer over their victory. Everyone except King Dedede, of course. On Meta Knight's battleship, he got a call from Waddle Doo.

"Sire, you just got mail with a bill that says you owe quite a lot!" Waddle Doo explained.

"How much we talking?" Escargoon asked.

Waddle Doo held up the total amount Nightmare Enterprises had charged him for the monsters Salem hadn't paid for yet. King Dedede fainted in response.

Meanwhile, Team RWBY knew that now Salem was gone and humanity would live to see another day with the gods of Remnant making sure NME wouldn't dare try to conquer the planet, it was time that they say goodbye to Kirby. In the time they had known him, they had grown to truly love him, but it would be hardest for Yang. She knew she had to let him go so he could defeat NME, but she didn't want to leave her baby boy.

Before Kirby entered Battleship Halberd to finally go back to Dreamland, he jumped into his mother's arms.

"I'm so proud of you," Yang sweetly smiled at him as she craddled him in her arms, just like when she had first found him.

Kirby smiled and cooed in response.

"I'll always love you Kirby," Yang kissed him on his forehead.

"Love you...Mommy," Kirby replied.

"Goodbye...Kirby. I'll never forget you. Win against NME, ok? For me?" Yang asked as tears began to form in her eyes.

"Poyo," Kirby nodded, tears forming in his eyes as well.

Yang then put him down as he walked towards the ship with tears rolling down his face. Just then, Meta Knight stopped him.

"Wait Kirby. While you must return to Dreamland, I know of a way where you can come back to Remnant anytime, even without Battleship Halberd."

"Poyo?!" Kirby asked excited.

"Wait, really?" Yang asked while she was still crying.

"Yes. I still have Dedede's portable monster teleporter, and I reprogrammed it so that if someone on Remnant holds on to it, we can use Dedede's transport system in Dreamland to easily visit each planet. Nightmare Enterprises can no longer use it either," Meta Knight explained.

"That's great!" Yang smiled.

"Yang, I also think you should come with us. Before Kirby met you, he didn't have anyone to call his mother. I was like a big sister to him, but he needs a mother like you in his life," Tiff told her.

"Yes, of course I'll go with Kirby!" Yang replied.

The mother and son then hugged each other again. They then walked to the ship as Yang carried him.

Once they were back in Dreamland, Yang decided she would become a permanent resident, and she would move into Kirby's house with him. She would visit Remnant, but Dreamland was her new home. Even though she and Kirby would have to deal with Dedede and Escargoon's shenanigans, she was glad Kirby didn't go though them alone anymore.

The next morning, Yang woke up in Kirby's bed to see he was still asleep in her arms.

"I love you Kirby, and I'm proud to call you my son," Yang smiled as she kissed him atop the head while remembering the fateful night she found him.
