𝚡𝚡𝚟𝚒. 𝚐𝚘𝚘𝚍𝚋𝚢𝚎

𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑽𝑬𝑹 was in the garage helping Dom fix up his car. Brian walked in and looked at Dom.

"Everyone's looking for you." Brian said

"I'm right here." Dom replied

"It's nice to see you've gone with the times and switched to electronic fuel injection. Looks good." Brian said

He inspected the car, taking a step closer to it.

"Buster became a gearhead." Dom said

He smiled as he shook his head. After a brief moment of silence, Brian spoke up.

"I'm going with you." Brian said

Oliver crossed his arms.

"I don't plan on bringing anyone back." Dom replied, lowly

He leaned against the car, looking down at the engine. He then looked at Brian.

"I know." Brian said

He kept his gaze on the engine. Dom and Brian looked at each other.

"Hit that throttle." Dom instructed

Brian did as he was told. Oliver looked up, and saw Mia and Lola, each with a bag of groceries. He jogged over to his girlfriend and grabbed the bag. Lola went inside, with Brian running after her.

"Let me help you with that." Oliver said

He grabbed the bag from Mia's arms and she smiled gratefully at him. Inside the house, the couple noticed Brian watching Lola unload her bag of groceries. Oliver quietly placed down the bag before he and Mia headed up to their room. Oliver told her about Dom and Brian's conversation.

"He's really gonna leave us again?" Mia asked, sadly

"I don't know, Mi. I really don't know." Oliver said, honestly

A little later, it was time for Mia, Oliver, and Lola to say their goodbyes to Dom and Brian. Mia and Lola rushed over to Dom, and hugged him. Oliver took this time to pull his younger brother into a hug.

"You be safe out there, Bri. Lola needs you." Oliver said

"I will." Brian promised

Oliver made his way over to Dom. He pulled his best friend into a hug.

"There's something to come back to." Oliver reminded

Dom nodded. Brian and Dom got into their cars, and drove off. Mia, Oliver, and Lola watched the two drive away. Oliver walked over to Lola.

"Come here." Oliver said

He pulled Lola into a hug, letting her cry it out.

A few days later, it was time for Dom's court date. A man banged the gravel, Oliver sighed.

"All rise." The man said

Oliver stood from his seat as the judge walked in.

"Please be seated." The man said

Oliver sat down, wrapping his arm around Mia. Brian had his arm wrapped around Lola.

"Please rise, Mr. Toretto." The judge instructed

Dom slowly stood up.

"I've listened to the testimony and taken into special consideration Agent O'Connor's appeal of clemency on behalf of Mr. Toretto. That his actions directly resulted in the apprehension of known drug trafficker Arturo Braga. However, this judiciary finds that one right does not make up for a lifetime worth of wrongs. And as such, I find that I am forced to level the maximum sentence under California law." The judge said

Mia started crying as Oliver heard Brian curse under his breath. Brian pulled his arm away from Lola and stood up, storming out of the courtroom. Lola put her hands together in a prayer position in front of herself as she blinked away her tears.

"Dominic Toretto, you are hereby sentenced to serve twenty-five years to life at the Lompoc maximum security prison system without the possibility of early parole. This court is adjourned." The judge said

He banged the gavel. Dom looked back at Oliver and gave him the same look he'd given Oliver the first time he had gone to Lompoc. The look to care of Mia and Lola. Oliver nodded his head in understanding as he gave his best friend a sad look, Dom sharing it before he was led out of the courtroom.

Oliver led the pack of cars behind him. They were going to break Dom out. He pressed harder on the gas peddle, jerking the car forward as the speed increased dramatically. The group approached the bus that was transporting a group of prisoners to a prison in Lompoc. Dom was one of those prisoners. But he wouldn't be for long.

"Hope Dom likes a dramatic exit." Oliver muttered, chuckling

Mia and Lola's cars sped ahead, zig-zagging in front of the bus.
