Autumn leaves
falling down
crisp and brown
Nature's symphony
without a sound.
Golden leaves, a falling cascade
Nature's art, an earthy masquerade
A symphony of rustling sound
A final dance before hitting the ground
Twisted branches, gnarled and bent
Leaves of purple, a psychedelic tint
A carnival of color, a surreal delight
Nature's strange and mystical sight
Elongated leaves, with eyes that stare
Falling to the ground, without a care
Nature's bizarre creation, on full display
A twisted landscape, that can't be tamed
Lemon-scented leaves, with feet for hands
Falling up, to foreign lands
Nature's creation
A bewildering scene, without explanation
Leaves of blue, with purple spots
Falling sideways, up and down
Living, breathing all around
Into everything it Rotts
