Chapter 7: confession

I slept on a bench, waiting for bloodmoon's return. The dreams ive been having about him have been getting weirder and weirder, but a good weird. I don't know how to explain it. I woke up at the sound of Monty's voice.

"Hey Nova, you good there buddy?" Monty said, sitting on the bench next to mine.

"Y-yea, why?" I touched my faceplate.

Holy shit i was hot as hell! Literally! I realized i had been blushing and sweating in my dreams.

"Well, guess my dream was too rough" i said without hesitation

"Oh my gosh, Nova" Monty said, sighing

"Its okay, if anyone were to walk in they would not understand the joke." I said, putting my hands on my hips.

I couldn't help but feel like we're being watched. Or that im being watched. Like someone was by the doorway, meaning to talk to me but they couldn't help but just look at me. Ok, my self confidence is way too high to be normal.

"Hm, i feel like we're being watched" i thought out loud

All of a sudden, the feeling went away. Maybe we were actually being watched.

"Yea, bloodmoon was just sittin at the entrance starin at ya" Monty said, looking at the entrance. "Does he have a crush on you or somethin?"

"Y-yes" i hesitantly said, blushing. "B-but im not t-trying to make things go too fast!"

"Well he seems like he really wants ya, he talks about you all the time to me and Lunar, honestly i say go for it" He said. "But, hey, make sure he's the one you really really like, ok?"

"Gosh, you're like Freddy when i had a crush on Roxxanne before they started dating" i jokingly said

"Sun was super jealous of you at the time" monty said.

"The actual sun? Not Eclipse?" I asked.

"Yea, remember the picture on the security desk? Yea, Daryl did that to mess with sun, or he likesRoxxanne" Monty explained.

Someone tapped me. I turned around and it was bloodmoon, but he's blushing.

"H-hey Nova?" He asked.

"Yes?" I said as i bent down to look at him because he's slightly shorter than me.

He stared into my eyes, blushing more and more the longer he looked into them. He seemed lost in his thoughts. I booped his nose, making sure he isn't broken. He squeaked and snapped back into reality.

"U-uh yes?" He nervously said.

"Hm, strange, never seen you so pacifist before. Are you okay?" Monty asked.

"Yup, completely fine!" Bloodmoon replied quickly.

"Im pretty sure by now you would have murdered Nova by now" Monty crossed his arms.

Ok, he's planning something, what is he trying to make Bloodmoon say? I thought of a million different things bloodmoon could have said.

"I would never do that to my boyfriend-" Bloodmoon put and hand over his mouth and blushed.

"Hm? Your what?" Monty asked, grinning.

I blushed, knowing what he said. Bloodmoon frantically stuttered "i" and "um" for the next 3 minutes.

"I-i-i-i he's my f-friend! N-nothing more" he said.

I grabbed his hand, it was hot to the touch. It was like a human getting a fever. Or one of us getting the animatronic version of the flu.

"For right now" he muttered.

I was like right in front of him so i heard exactly what he said. I blushed and took his other hand, i wanted to mess with him. I wanted his systems to overheat. I got close to his face.

"What did you say sweetheart?~" i said, grinning to myself.

"Uhh, um, i-" he stuttered as he got more red

I placed a hand on the side of his faceplate, bringing his face even closer to mine.

"Tell me~" i demanded.

Ok, this is getting a little too close, but im gonna keep messing with him because its fun.

"N-nova" he stuttered.

I had just realized that i put my hand on his hips. I backed away slightly, flustered about what i did. He took a shaky breath and gestured Monty to leave. Monty walked out and Bloodmoon became the same height as me.

"N-nova....i know we've only known each other for about a month b-but....something inside me was always telling me that you were special. You make me feel things other than Blood lust, you make me not want to kill anyone when im around you, and i wanna feel that way every moment of my lifespan" He said.

"Just say it, stop procrastinating" Bloodlust interrupted.

"Hold on, i wanna say something" i said, taking bloodmoon's hand. "You make me feel this feeling that ive never felt before, this good feeling. You make me happy and i also want to keep being this happy for all of my life"

Bloodmoon blushed as i continued saying how happy i was when i was around him. Honestly, i was just as embarassed and nervous as he was.

"N-nova..." He said. "I....i love you..."

I blushed and put my hand on his faceplate. I smiled.

"I love you too" i said, bringing his face closer to mine again.

I kissed his face, and he blushed more in response. I wonder if he'll get more dominant as our relationship goes on.
