Find someone who will love you well. Someone who won't belittle you. Even during the heat of an argument. Find someone who will be gentle and kind with you, but does not treat you as if you are fragile. Someone who knows what it is you are capable of, that celebrates those tiny pieces of you. 

Do not find someone who will be intimidated by your strength. Someone who can call you out for being a brat, but doesn't make you feel guilty for being improper. Remember it's not love's job to punish you. The person you will learn to love is just as broken as you are when they start to fall short. Keep in mind that no one is perfect so do not hold them to a standard. 

Please find someone who will be patient, forgiving, and gentle. Someone who practices forgiveness on their own terms. Love someone who's just as humble and kind, and compassionate as you. Not just to you but to everyone around you, whether that's providing food to the homeless or simply saying "hi" to the stranger they pass on the sidewalk. 

Common courtesy is important. Compassion is important. And Kindness is important
