Think down the line from now. What is it that you see?

Maybe it's six years later, and a different boy is sitting across from you on your bed. He feels different than what you have been used to, a little rougher around the edges, and a touch that's just a little more softer.

He's looking through your old scrapbook full of memories from back when you were in high school. He's turned to a page that's been covered carefully in cut out red hearts and photos that you had placed gently on the page.

It's this major part of your history that is being held right in the palms of his hands. Of course he asks you who the boy is.

And your only answer is he was your highschool sweetheart.

What you fail to tell him is how occasionally you will lie awake at night sometimes missing that boy.

And what you don't tell him is how you occasionally crave someone else's touch.
