I find a lot of people don't understand what it is to have real romance. See anyone can buy flowers, and jewelry, but the reality is there's no love in that. 

The true romantic things are those little things you do everyday that show that you care, it helps remind them that you are thinking of them. If it's going out of your way to make that person happy even if it's the way you hold her hand when she's scared, or saving the last piece of cake for them. It can be the random text in the middle of the day just to say "I love you". It can be the way they stop to kiss you when they pass by on their way to work. It's dedicating their favorite song to you, and letting them eat the fries you got when they said they didn't want any. It's telling them how beautiful they look, even when they are in comfy clothes, with her hair in a messy bun with no makeup on. It's putting on your favorite show and pausing it so she can tell you about her day, it's laughing at his jokes when they really weren't that funny. It can be slow dancing in the refrigerator light and kissing in the rain. Romance was never about buying anything, it's about giving
