An: finally an update,also I am making updated refs to the deathgrippers, they will be posted on a different chapter,the ones on velocitys bio are still canon though :),also enjoy the chapter.

Velocity took Astrid outside to where the dragon hunters stood.

The deathgrippers and the triple Stryke followed their rider closely as Astrid was brought to the center of the camp.

The deathgrippers growled at her threatingly, holding their stingers up towards her.

Where the dragon hunters and Viggo stood,ryker was there as well with a scowl on his face.

Velocity stood in the center holding the large brown collar with a vile filled with purple liquid in it.

Two dragon hunters held Astrid as a few led in a muzzled storm fly.

"stormfly!" Astrid yelled in distress seeing her dragon muzzled.

The deadly nadder saw it's rider and pulled on the chains trying to get to her rider.

"hold it in place Imbeciles"Velocity growled.

The Dragon hunters held the ropes that collared the nadder.

Velocity held the collar in her hands.

"To defeat a dragon rider all you must do is turn dragons against you"Velocity spoke eerily calm"but to do it you have to control them"

Velocity strapped the leather collar onto stormflys neck as the dragon fought against it trying to get it off.

"you see a deathgrippers venom is capable of alot"Velocity spoke pacing In a circle looking at the hunters"The first prick, Paralyzes the opponent,the second time"

Velocity pauses and pressed the vile into the collar,it made a clicking sound as the nadder started to freak and thrash about in its ropes.

"How long do you think it will take for it too kill her"Ryker spoke as he watched.

Viggo watched intently.

"stormfly no!"Astrid yelled "what did you do to her"

Velocity chuckled evily as she raised her sickle, cutting the muzzle and rope.

The nadder growled and ran forward towards velocity,wings and tail raised.

Then velocity let out a sharp whistle and the nadder stopped in its track.

Instead of stormflys normal round pupils they were earlier slit shaped.

"stormfly?"Astrid said her voice slightly scared.

Velocity whistled again as stormflys head turned towards Astrid.

"No dragon can resist my command. So she who controls the venom can controls them all."Velocity spoke.

The venom took control of stormfl. Her pupils shrink into frighteningly narrow slits and she turns on Astrid.

"stormfly,You okay, girl? What's going on?"Astrid said as the deadly nadder nearerd her.

"Witness true strength. The strength of will over others. In the face of it, you are nothing!"Velocity hissed as dreadstinger rattled his tail.

"Uh, what did he just tell you? stormfly, what's the matter with you? What're you doing? Knock it off! Stop! Snap out of it!"Astrid yelled.

The deadly nadder sent a Barry of tail spines towards Astrid,she dodge out the way and began to run.

A few hunters prepared to catch her but velocity stopped them.

"You are taking the fun out of the hunt,I will simply let the dragon kill the girl and any other rider that comes to save her"Velocity laughed slightly as dreadstinger stood next to her.

Velocity watched Astrid run as a cruel smile appeared on her face.

Meanwhile

Astrid ran through the foliage as The controlled stormfly ran after her blasting a hot magnesium fire at her.

"stormfly it's me Astrid"Astrid said short of breath.

The nadder snarled angrily revealing it's sharp white fangs.

Astrid backed away slowly keeping her eyes on her beloved dragon.

"Come on girl,fight it I know you can"

Astrid Heard the sound of Sickles clashing together as she turned around she was met with velocity coming out of the shadowed Forrest behind her.

She had a cruel smirk on her face.

"What's the matter?Life flashing before your eyes?"Velocity smirked.

Astrid looked panicked.

It was either be eaten by your beloved dragon or the Psycho murderer.

Velocity sniffed the air for a moment as her eyes grew wide.

"I just love the smell of fear"She snarled as she clashed her sickles against eachother.

She grabbed something that was attached to her back and threw it Infront of her.

It was her axe.

"Pick it up."Velocity said growling.

Astrid froze looking at the axe and back at velocity.

"Pick it up."Velocity said sternly.

Just as Astrid was about to say something the whistle of familiar wings filled her ears.

Velocity looked up and saw hiccup and toothless with the other riders.

Velocity turned to Astrid.

"Untill we meet again gatita"velocity smirked.

Velocity retreated back into the forest.

The mind controlled stormfly was about to run towards the riders before hookfang stopped her by knocking her back.

"We need to help stormfly, velocity she did something to her."Astrid said worriedly.

"don't worry Astrid we'll help you free her"Hiccup said calmly"where did velocity put this thing to make her act weird."

"In the collar around her neck"Astrid said.

Hiccup nodded as the riders used their dragons to subdue stormfly.

Hiccup undid the collar and starred into the purple liquid filled vile.

"What is it"Fishlegs asked.

"whatever it is,our enemy now has the ability to control our dragons"
