Chapter 16. Forgiveness and Confessions

November 1984

Three days had come and gone since Daniel, Mr. Miyagi and Rebecca visited the Cobra Kai dojo. Just like last time, she avoided her boyfriend and friends like the plague, but this time she had a good reason. For one, she was now involved in the karate mess, and number two, they beat up her best friend.

"Have you spoken to the Cobras?" Ali asked as she and Rebecca walked to the brunette's locker at the end of 4th period, and the blonde clutched her books close to her chest

Rebecca opened her locker as she grabbed her book and notebook for French as she replied. "No. Bobby called the day after, but I didn't want to talk." the brunette closed her locker, and continued walking down the hall

With concern in her voice, Ali asked, "How is your forehead? What did your dad say?"

"It feels better. He was upset, but not at me. But he just told me that I shouldn't have gotten involved." Rebecca said

"I'm so sorry you ended up getting hurt." Ali said

Rebecca shook her head and replied, "It's not your fault. I was just trying to keep them from doing something stupid, but obviously you see how that went."

"Have you seen Daniel?" Ali asked

"Not since this morning." Rebecca said as she hugged her books to her chest. Looking up, she spotted him at his locker. "There he is. Go on."

Ali smiled brightly as she walked up to him, and tapped his shoulder. Rebecca stayed behind him and he turned around and saw Ali, and he smiled brightly. "Hey, there you are. I've been looking all over for you today, where you been?" Daniel asked

Ali had a look of disgust on her face and she shook her head. "I don't believe it." she said, then scoffed. The blonde walked away, then Daniel and Rebecca followed her.

"What? Hey, where are you going?" Daniel asked Ali, who was beyond pissed after seeing his face.

"Where are we going, Ali?" Rebecca asked as she walked beside the blonde

"I'm gonna go find that idiot, and it's gonna stop." Ali said as Rebecca walked beside her.

"Hi Ali, hi Becca." Susan greeted. "Hi." Barbara smiled, and Rebecca smiled and waved at the two.

"No relax, everything's been taken care of." Daniel said as he stepped in front of the blonde.

"Oh yeah until next time around?" Ali asked, then looked over Daniel's shoulder. "There they are."

Rebecca glanced over Ali's shoulder and saw The Cobra Kais walking towards to them, and watching the three of them as they stood together, but they weren't watching Ali, they were watching Rebecca. Both Bobby and Johnny's eyes were glued to her. The beautiful brunette hugged her books to her chest and she stood closer to Ali, almost hiding behind the blonde, and trying not to cry. The truth of the matter was, she wanted to be back with Bobby, she was just too stubborn to admit it.

"Watch this." Daniel said, as he gestured for Ali and Rebecca to follow him. "Hey guys, how you doing? Good to see ya. Hey sorry about the eye there Johnny, your shoulder okay Tommy? You guys better be careful not to go steppin' in front of any more buses now alright?" he laughed as he walked away

Rebecca shook her head in disgust while Ali laughed. She heard Johnny throw his books down in anger. He was pissed off that Daniel was using Rebecca against them.
