4.1 Cheeku for Mahi Bhai

This is just tiny chapter in form of interview question for MS about Virat :)
I hope you like it :))
I'm trying to complete 3/4 more oneshots hopefully i can find a good way to end them all soon.

MSD'S POV:

Anchor asked, "So MS, you've always talked about how Virat is as your team mate, then as vice captain, as a captain, then as ex captain, in short just as your teammate. If you don't mind tell us how's Virat Kohli as your younger brother. Like how he keeps talking about his mahi bhai, we know how Mahi bhai is for Virat but how is Virat or as you call him cheeku for you or others? Of course only if you're comfortable with the question"

"Wow thats, no joke first time someone asked me this, thank you for asking, dont worry I'm comfortable and Virat? Me and sakshi always joke how he's my adopted younger brother. He's my lucky charm, jabse mere life meinaaya sab acha ja raha hain mere saath. Humara bond is something i treasure the most. Aaj bhi when im not in the team i know i matter to him and he knoes he matters to me, aur kal jab he leaves team we know we'll stay the same. Cheeku mere life mein kitna important hain ye kisiko nahi samaj sakta, usko bhi nahi. You know vo aisa Insaan hain jiske saath mein ek pal mature ban sakta hun, agle hi pal ussey mazak kar sakta hun, shaanti se usko sun sakta hun, ussey Sab suna sakta hun.." I paused smiling at their memories.

"Uska mujhpein jo trust hain and mere judgements ko jaise vo humesha consider karta hain, mujhey pata nahi aisa kya kiya hain Meine to gain that on and off feild, but I'm so lucky like literally luckiest human to have that trust from someone in my professional life and thankfully in my personal life too. Ab toh kya personal professional, family hain vo meri. Very few people know this but he's the reason, despite the things that happened in final stages of my career, they didn't completely break me and I didn't lose myself in that darkness. Jab puri duniya mujhpein ungliyaan kar rahi thi, jab puri duniya mujhpein shak kar rahi thi, ek Insaan mere sath pure time firmly khada tha and that's Virat Kohli. He didn't hesitate to fight with anyone even me to make me realise my potential. Ek time aya tha when i was overthinking but ussey kya hi chupau and he figured it out, uske baad jo lecture pada hain mujhey kya hi batau" I laughed and anchor let out surprise chuckle.

"Uski best quality is how much he cares and sometimes that can be harmful for HIS own health too but usey pata hain jis din he decided not to take care of himself mein usey ghar aake sunaunga! He'll tell you ke he does that more with me but agar count kiya toh definitely I'm winning; he heard more lectures from me than vice versa. Acha kisiko lagta hi nahi ke he handles sadness and people in trouble so well! Yuhi he ain't favourite captain naye players ka! Ek din yaad hain mujhey, jab i was overthinking, I was staying aloof tab. He came in my room sat on my bed and just let me be, he knew if he would've asked me I would've lied so he didnt. At this point he knows how to handle me so well, and it's really surreal to see him give me exact reactions that I need..... So back to that story he just sat there looking out for me as i kept l walking back and forth. Kuch baat nhi ki bas baithke dekh raha tha and when i finally broke my resolve he was quick to hug me even before tears spilled out of my eyes. And uss pal mein jo protected and safe mujhey mehsus hua hain na!!!", I said completely lost in the memory

"I'm used to protecting you know? Mein sabko protect kar sakta hun. Par sakshi, mere Ranchi vale friends and ma ke alava bhi mujhe koi protect kar sakta hain and vo bhi cricket mein, mere team ka hi member ye mujhey first time yakin hua uss din. Usey bola bhi maine tab his reply was, 'Bhai aap kahi bhi jaao, kuch bhi karlo mein aapke saath hun humesha and aapko protect karna mera second nature hain.' To be honest i dont know how much am i making sense abhi cause seriously mein nahi explain kar sakta; Virat, uske opinions, uske antics and just vo mere liye kitne KITNE important hain"

The anchor smiled happily and said, "This is so beautiful thank you for letting us see and get to know this side of you!"

I just smiled and nodded in appreciation knowing very well that I'll have to handle emotional cheeku once this interview is out but that will be worth it no doubts. He deserves all the appreciation in this world!
