This is not an update. I wanted to talk about what happened in my home country (Turkey). While my family and I were lucky enough to not live in the area where the earthquakes happened, we are all still in shock and utterly helpless.
20 Million people were affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria and a lot of them still can't be rescued. It's extremely cold in that region of the country, so the ones who survived the shaking, but are stuck in the building are facing the risks of freezing to death.
Scientists are saying that there might be other earthquakes any moment now, this time closer to were I come from. At this point we don't even know if we will still be alive tomorrow.
