Chapter 13

I woke up in Masimos room again but this time I didn't pass out . I felt my neck to see if the mark was still there and sure enough I felt the pain as it was still sore and I let out a small short scream as I slowly sat up in the bed . I saw movement out the corner of my eyes and looked over to see Masimo watching me with a concerned look from a chair in the corner. It was definitely giving creep vibes but, I immediately scowled and looked away I didn't know what to say ,how to feel , what he did to me was wrong but for some reason I didn't get up and punch him or try to fight him like I usually would. We sat in silence for a while before Masimo spoke up.
" Your probably thinking I'm an asshole right now and I don't blame you " he spoke slowly walking towards me sitting on the edge of the bed. I scoffed and looked at the wall ignoring his eyes. " it's just when I saw you at the banquet I couldn't take my eyes off you I was watching your every move and I couldn't help but want you to be mine " he said staring at me as I rolled my eyes at that , sounds like something every man says to a woman, but I couldn't help but listen closely to what he was saying.

" I thought maybe I found a kind caring Luna for my pack, when you're with your friends your smile and your laughter is so mesmerizing to me it puts me in a trance and the way you zone out in the middle of conversations and still you haven't missed a single word the person has said , not only are you a good listener but the way you stick up for yourself and your friends " he paused looking up from the bed to see if I was still listening. I had finally looked at him as he was talking and we were now making direct eye contact .
"You're the perfect person you're strong, stubborn, determined , Independent 
Especially the determined part you tried to escape like 4 times" he spoke eyes staring directly into mine. I laughed at his little joke and it seemed like his eyes started to soften. " I know you're young and you have dreams of your own or things you were doing before you met me but if you give me a chance I promise I won't disappoint you and I'll give you space to think about it " He finished grabbing my hand and lightly kissing it before he slowly got up leaving the room. As the door closed behind him I was left in silence as I tried to gather my thoughts. I didn't know what was happening anymore my life was falling apart and I felt like part of me would feel weak for giving into him I mean him and his pack took over our world and they take 18 year old girls from their families and their lives. Not to mention the humans They slaughtered . But another part of me was saying what if all that wasn't true, what if they were rumors. I don't know him he could be a good person , Since I had been here I never really gave him a chance either. I mean why would I he took me away from my life.

As thoughts run through my head I hear the door open and in walks Jade,Olivia, and Vanessa with a plate of food. Jade ran to me and hugged me tightly. I felt like tearing up but I held them back as I didn't wanna look like a crybaby in front of them. She looked back at me and rested her forehead against mine Olivia and Vanessa soon joined us and we were in a group hug. " Do you want to talk about it " Jade asked looking at me wearily and for the first time I did .
I know they were worried so I told them what happened and the shocked looks on their faces made me feel even worse and I know they weren't trying to make me feel like that. " How dare he do that to you " Vanessa spoke up. But her voice changed it was like she was trying to calm her anger but her face showed it all. "They think because their fucking powerful wolves they can do whatever they want but forcefully marking you crosses so many boundaries and he's not getting away with this."  Vanessa spoke balling and unballing her fist up. I had never seen her like this and it scared me a little bit.She got up walking towards the door but before she could get out I jumped up and and grabbed her. 
" I know what you're gonna do so please don't try to fight him " I pleaded as she sighed and pulled me into a hug. " You stick up for us when we need you so why do you expect us not to do the same " Came Olivia's voice from the bed. She slowly walked over to me brushing my hair to the side. " Because I realized I may have been acting like a brat this whole time and I'm in the wrong " I spoke walking away turning my back towards them as my tears threatened to fall. This whole time it's been about me and what I want I never once asked them if they wanted this if the they were happy. Olivia risked her relationship and her health just so I could escape. She was willing to leave it all behind and Vanessa would've never gotten into it with Zac if she would've never left with me. I hadn't given the guys a chance I was rude when I first met them not to mention the stunt I pulled at the banquet.

After a minute of us all being quiet I spoke softly to the girls as they gathered around me once again." I think I'm ready to give him a chance plus he apologized " I said as we all hugged. Jade had finally spoken after she had been quiet most of the time. " Just know that whatever you do or wherever you go we will always be there " she smiled softly as Olivia and Vanessa nodded in agreement. I smiled and then sat back on the bed as I started to eat off the plate of food they bought in here . I then looked at Olivia remember her throwing up and almost passing out." So how you holding up is it true, are you pregnant " I asked  in a soft tone. She nodded her head yes as I started jumping up and down squealing. " You guys moved pretty fast " I said giving her the SIDE EYE . She blushed and looked away while Jade an Vanessa giggled at her response. Me and the girls chilled the rest of the day in Jades room watching movies , talking, and being on our phones. I couldn't help but think about what was going to happen. I feel like it's gonna be weird being nice to him after all that's happened but I'm kinda getting tired of fighting everyday and constantly being in a bad mood. It was now eleven o clock and the movie was coming to an end. Everyone got up yawning and saying their goodbyes heading to their rooms. Me and jade were were sitting there staring at the screen silent. " Are you gonna be alright " she asked turning towards me offering popcorn.
I grabbed a handful and shoved it in my mouth causing  jade to laugh at me.
" I'ma big girl " I spoke making muscles with my arms. We started busting out laughing our asses off . " Ok Sheman " she laughed . I made a offended face while covering my chest with my hand. " so you're saying I'm a man " I gasped in shock as jade rolled her eyes at me chuckling. " But all jokes aside I'm gonna be fine" I spoke smiling softly at her. I got up telling her good night and found myself in front of Masimos room. I knocked on the door before I walked in

Hey guys so I just reread the previous chapters before this and honeyyyyy I need to edit each and every chapter cause wtf was going through my head 💀 but I hope you guys enjoy the new chapter and please
