The bell to signal the end of the school day rang and you finally felt some relief for the first time today. You quickly packed your things back in your bag and headed towards the classroom exit, walking out last since you couldn't be bothered to fight 20 people just to walk out of a fucking door.
The moment you were out, you pulled out your headphones and your phone, putting on some music in order to distract yourself from everything around you. God, sometimes you wish you could just disappear. Not necessarily in a bad way, you just loved the idea of running away and making a way for yourself, not having to rely on anyone. Sadly though, you were broke and a pussy, so you just stuck to coming up with fantasy scenarios in your head and reading an obscene amount of fanfiction.
On your way home you felt your phone vibrate and decided to check it out, still wary because of the message your mother had left you earlier. You quickly felt that uneasiness dissipate when you saw it was just your green friends though.
